EUROPE 'The Final Countdown' 40th Anniversary Tour: Presale, dates, locations, and more explored

Swedish rock band EUROPE has announced 2026 dates of their upcoming The Final Countdown European tour. The band will celebrate the 40th anniversary of their third studio album, released in 1986. EUROPE released their last album, Walk the Earth, in 2017, and they are set to release their new LP in September next year. The 12-nation 2026 European tour will come on the heels of their new album release.

The band announced the 40th anniversary of The Final Countdown tour via an Instagram post on Tuesday.

"We are very pleased to announce new European tour dates for September & October 2026! To Celebrate 40 years of 'The Final Countdown' we will be playing 12 countries taking in 19 concerts. The show will consist of many of our (and hopefully your) favorite songs from over the years, culminating in us playing The Final Countdown Album in its entirety... In September we will also release our 12th studio record (title to be revealed soon), recorded at RMV studios in Stockholm with producer Tom Dalgety (Ghost, The Pixies, Royal Blood, Opeth)," the caption read.

The rock band also provided the ticket sale details in the Instagram post. The ticket presale and general sale will go live at different times for different countries.

General sale information:

  • UK shows -Thursday 27th November at 10 am
  • Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Austria, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway show– Friday, 28th November, at 11 am
  • France show- Monday, 1st December, at 11 am
  • Switzerland, Italy shows - Friday 5th December at 11 am

EUROPE Force members will be able to access the ticket presale. However, there will be no presale for the Austrian show. Ticket presale details for other shows are:

  • UK shows - Wednesday 26th November at 10 am
  • Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway show on Wednesday, 26th November, at 11 am
  • France show - Thursday, 27th November, at 11 am
  • Switzerland, Italy shows – Wednesday, 3rd December, at 11 am

Fans who are not yet members of the band's loyalty program and are willing to access the presale can sign up for it before the presale.

Following the release of their new album next year, the band will embark on their multinational European tour to celebrate their iconic album The Final Countdown. THE DAMN TRUTH will accompany the Swedish band on their celebratory tour. GUN will also share the stage at the UK shows of EUROPE. Here is a complete rundown of the rock band's 2026 European leg:

The lead vocalist of the band shared a statement while announcing the tour. Referring to The Final Countdown, Joey Tempest stated:

"In a blink of an eye 40 years have passed and we’re about to perform TFC in full for only the second time in our career, together with other hits and special cuts from our upcoming album... This will be amazing - we’re working on making the production and show match this very special occasion."

The 1986 album consists of 10 tracks. It peaked at the number 8 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
