The Devil Wears Prada actress kept it casual in navy pants, a blue and white top, and beige slippers, while Short chose a grey suit paired with a white button-up shirt over a black T-shirt.

The two first ignited dating rumors in January 2024 after fans noticed their playful interactions at the 2024 Golden Globes. This time, too, fans were not far away from making speculations. One user wrote on X,

As per E! News, the speculation continued as the two were seen holding hands at the Only Murders in the Building Season 4 premiere after-party and again in September 2024 at the 2024 Emmys, where Martin Short sat beside Meryl Streep.
Short admitted feeling stressed the first time he and Streep filmed together. In a September 2024 interview with E! News, he shared that despite his extensive experience in show business, he found himself unusually nervous that day, realizing it was because he was working alongside her. However, Meryl Streep also admitted to feeling the same. Short said,
“We finished a two-person scene at a piano, and they have to set up for angle and we went into a holding area, and she said, 'Okay, my nerves are to half.’”
In an interview with extraTV, Martin Short reflected on his evolving friendship with Meryl Streep. He mentioned that their bond had continued to grow, but he preferred not to disclose too many details about their interactions.
He was married to Nancy Dolman from 1980 until she passed away from ovarian cancer in 2010. Since then, he has not been in a confirmed relationship and continues to speak fondly of Dolman.
