Bill Murray relationships explored as Actor clarifies R-&B singer Kelis dating rumors

Bill Murray has finally addressed the rumors of his alleged romance with singer Kelis. The speculations started in June 2023 when the actor attended her performance at the Mighty Hoopla Festival in South London.

Recently, the Ghostbusters actor, appeared on the Sway in the Morning radio talk show to discuss his new movie, Riff Raff. During the interview, Murray was asked about the rumors about his alleged relationship with the Milkshake singer. He said:

"I met this girl named Kelis. I got great press that I was dating her. That really raised my cred a lot"

Murray also mentioned that he had recently watched Kelis' music video for her 1999 song, Got Your Money, which sparked his curiosity and made him want to learn more about the singer:

"That song just kills me. I love that video. And I kept going, 'That's the silliest thing. How did I miss that when it came out in the first place? It's so crazy.' And I'm going, 'Who is that girl with the red hair?' and it was Kelis."

He further added:

"I just had to meet her some time. She turns out to be spectacular. Actually, I spoke with her recently. She bought land in Kenya, in Africa. She's in Africa. She is not afraid of the dark. She just goes out there and goes, 'Well, I think I'll just go to Africa and start a farm."

He further clarified that although the two have never dated, he wouldn't be opposed to the idea if the opportunity ever presented itself:

"Hey, you know, one of us could be on the rebound any second," he said.

Back in 2023, when asked if she would address the rumours, the Bossy singer has also dismissed the speculations, saying:

"Lol no babe, I wouldn't bother at all."

"I thought he was trying to drive me insane. I really was gonna pick a fight, and then I thought, 'Let's just do it.'”

Following the impromptu wedding, the couple had a more formal ceremony attended by friends and family. They had two children together, sons, Homer, born in 1982, and Luke, born in 1985.
