A video featuring Donald Trump falling over a missing door handle at his Green Bay event on October 30 has gone viral online. The former President arrived in a garbage truck while making statements to the press and saying,

"250 million people are not garbage. I can tell you who the real garbage is but I won't say that."

Before he staggered to the vehicle, he almost fell after missing the handle and needed help climbing back onto the truck. A video posted by X user @BradMossEsq went viral on the internet, garnering around 5 million views in less than a day, and users took to the comment section saying,

"He can't even open a door and people want to give him the nuclear codes?"

Some users pointed out that Trump is far too old to be campaigning and called the video "disturbing,"

"This is so sad to watch the billionaire elites put old man Trump up for election when it's glaringly obvious that he is not well. He is far too old to be doing this. Please please let him go live the rest of his life in peace in his own prison cell. This is disturbing." - a user noted
"Not only is Trump cognitively declining at a rapid pace. Physically he looks exhausted, defeated and off balance. The physical and mental collapse is happening right before our eyes." - another user opined
"Opening a door requires complex reasoning. HIs aging cerebral cortex clearly struggled with it. Glad we didn't have a fall." - another user commented
"Yes, and he got into that vehicle with the spring of an old person headed back to assisted living." - said another user

More concerns about Donald Trump's age

At 78, Donald Trump is currently the oldest presidential nominee in American history. If he is re-elected in November, he will end his term just before he turns 83. According to an Economist/YouGov survey of 1,604 U.S. adults, 34% think that Donald Trump's age will be a major issue if he gets re-elected and would affect his ability to fulfill his duties as the U.S. president.

The question surrounding Trump's age was raised after President Joe Biden, 81, stepped down from the race after concerns about his age and endorsed Kamala Harris, 59, as the Democratic nominee.

During a rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in August 2024, Donald Trump disagreed with age-related concerns about Biden and said that the Special Counsel judged Biden to be "mentally incompetent with poor memory but a nice old guy." He said that Biden is "not old" and that he has friends such as Bernie Marcus, who is 96 years old and "still sharp."
