Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris has scores of Hollywood celebrities rallying behind her, from musical giants like Taylor Swift and Beyoncé to film industry A-listers like George Clooney and Bruce Springsteen.
As a show of support, several celebrities have been hosting Zoom calls, rallies, and virtual events to raise funds for the Democratic ticket. Some of these include the Survivors for Harris, the White Dudes for Harris, the Comics for Harris, and—one of the more recent ones—Swifites for Harris.
Below is a list of all the major A-listers who have thrown their hat into the Democratic ring.
Here are some of the A-listers who have formally endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris
1) Leonardo DiCaprio
The acclaimed Hollywood actor backed Kamala Harris just this month. The avid environmental activist took to Instagram to bash Trump because he "continues to deny the facts."
2) Sarah Jessica Parker
Better known as Carrie Bradshaw, Parker equipped Instagram with a list of all the reasons she will be voting for Harris, some of which include "for the love of her country" and "for common sense gun laws."
3) Taylor Swift
Following mounting cries for the singer to reveal her political inclinations, Swift hopped on social media to pen a lengthy statement endorsing Harris, "because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them."
4) George Clooney
One of the first to rally behind Harris, Clooney penned a letter to the New York Times to urge Biden to step down. He said in the letter,
"President Biden has shown what true leadership is. He’s saving democracy once again. We’re all so excited to do whatever we can to support Vice President Harris in her historic quest.”
5) Beyoncé and Kelly Roland
According to Forbes, the Halo singer and Kelly Roland accompanied Kamala Harris at a Houston rally on Friday, October 25, effectively ending months of speculations about where their votes lay. The former's mother, Tina Knowles, and Willie Nelson also attended.
6) Eminem and Barack Obama
Slim Shady's massive hit track, Lose Yourself, has often been used to denote the Harris/Walz campaign. The artist himself showed up to show support at a rally in Michigan this month, where he formally declared his alliance alongside former President Barack Obama.
7) Megan Thee Stallion
Megan performed for a crowd at a rally in Atlanta in July, and just before she belted her hit track Body, she announced:
"Make some noise for Ms. Harris, our future president. I know my ladies in the crowd love their body. And if you want to keep loving your body, you know who to vote for.”
8) Finneas and Billie Eilish
The brother-sister duo took to social media to urge their followers to join them in backing the Democratic nominee just this month, given that Kamala Harris advocates for f “our reproductive freedom, our planet, and our democracy.” Billie said,
"Vote like your life depends on it because it does.”
Several other celebrities, including Jamie Lee Curtis, Kerry Washington, British singer Charli XCX, Oprah Winfrey, and Michael Keaton, have also formally declared endorsement for the Kamala Harris/Tim Walz campaign.
Moreover, Michael Keaton, Geraldo Rivera, Omarosa Manigault Newman, and Ben Stiller have also urged their followers to vote for the same.
