4) Fighting With My Family (2019)

Fighting With My Family is more about a family than wrestling. It's based on the namesake documentary and focuses on wrestler Paige as she is about to start her career in WWE. The film focuses on how she navigates her family while bracing herself for her big professional break. Florence Pugh gives an incredible performance, showing both strength and vulnerability in equal measures. Other cast members include Lena Headey, Nick Frost, and Vince Vaughn. It is available on Prime Video.


5) The Edge of Seventeen (2016)

This movie is Kelly Fremon Craig's directorial debut and stars Hailee Steinfeld as Nadine, whose life changes after her best friend starts seeing her brother. The film is an examination of the teen years, romantic feelings at that age, and trying to cope with your family in that rebellious phase.
