"I would do anything for Guy": John Krasinski shows admiration for ‘Fountain of Youth’ director Guy Ritchie

John Krasinski has a deep admiration for Fountain of Youth director, Guy Ritchie, and he is not afraid to show it. John attended the American Museum of Natural History in New York City on May 19 for the premiere of his upcoming movie. The movie is being distributed by Apple TV+.

In an interview with PEOPLE, when asked about his experience of working with Guy Ritchie, he replied:

"I mean, for me, I would do anything for Guy. I would've been a waiter in his movie. So to have him ask me to be the lead in the movie with Natalie Portman, I was like, it's the easiest yes I've ever given."

The actor's statement makes it clear that he's a big fan of Guy Ritchie.

Fountain of Youth marks Guy Ritchie and John Krasinski's first collaboration. The movie also stars Natalie Portman alongside Krasinski and is scheduled to be released on May 23 on Apple TV+.

John Krasinski opens up about his children's friendship with Guy Ritchie

While John admires Ritchie, his children are no different. When asked in the PEOPLE interview about his children's friendship with Ritchie, he said:

"Who's not obsessed with Guy? I don't know. I mean, he's got a heck of an accent. He's so gregarious. He's got the best vibe. He's the nicest, sweetest, calmest person, and he talks to them like adults, and so he wasn't talking to them like kids."

He further continued:

"He was asking 'em what they wanted to eat and did they want him to cook for them and all that stuff, and they just thought they were in the movie. I think they thought this was their big break."

From John's statement, it's clear they really like him. John Krasinski has two young daughters named Violet and Hazel with his wife, Emily Blunt. The couple likes to keep their personal life private and rarely shares details about their family. They also prefer to keep their children away from media attention.

The couple has worked on two movies together, A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place Part 2, both of which were directed by him. They also teamed up for the movie IF, in which John, along with directing the movie, also wrote the film and acted in it, while Emily lent her voice to one of the characters.
