Singer Zach Bryan and his girlfriend Brianna LaPaglia have parted ways, as the former announced their breakup on social media.
The duo met at the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards in May 2023 and started dating in July 2023. Their relationship took the internet by storm and fans were totally in awe of the couple.

In an Instagram post, Zach shared a story announcing the news.
“Addressing something: Brianna and me have broken up with each other and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that, I'll always thank her.”
He wrote that he had a tough time and struggled through 'severe things'.
“I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go different ways.”
He further added that he thinks he is not perfect and requested people to respect her privacy.
“I am not perfect and never will be. Please respect Brianna’s privacy and space in this and if you have it in your heart, mine too.”
He concluded by apologising for hurting people’s feelings.
“With everything I am and to anyone I let down, I am sorry. I try my best in everything. I failed people that love me and mostly myself.”
Addressing the news, Brianna also shared a cryptic post on her Instagram Stories. She mentioned being completely “blindsided” by her boyfriend. She wrote that she would take some time off social media to heal privately and be back soon.
“Hey guys I’m feeling really blindsided right now. Gonna hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately.”
“I love you guys so much thank you for all of your kind words. Remember you are so loved and everything’s always gonna be okay,”
Shortly after her Insta post went viral, the 25-year-old star posted an emotional message on her YouTube channel, Plan Bri Uncut. The title read, “Love you guys, I’ll be back soon.”
In the post, Brianna said,
“I just woke up to Zach posting on his Instagram that we broke up and I had no idea that post was going up. He didn’t text me; he didn’t call me. I just woke up to a bunch of texts, like, ‘Are you OK?”
She once again mentioned that she had been “completely blindsided”,
“I’ve been crying for like five days straight”.
“How can you give every ounce of yourself to someone and then like be discarded off in a few days,” a teary-eyed Brianna questioned.
He thanked her loved ones for the kind messages and assured them she would be fine. She urged her fans to refrain from making videos about her breakup situation or anything else and to wait for her return.
Zach Bryan’s relationship timeline
Zach Bryan and Brianna LaPaglia met on May 11, 2023 when they attended the Academy of Country Music Awards. They posed together for a picture, but were in separate relationships during that time.
On May 31, 2023, Bryan announced his break up with then girlfriend Deb Peifer in a post shared on X.
“Things are mutual between us, we’re leaving with plenty [of] memories and good times. I beg so much that everyone respects her and my privacy through a hard time,” he wrote.
On June 23, 2023, LaPaglia and her cohost Richards attended Bryan’s concert held at Forest Hills Stadium in New York City. However, the two didn’t speak at the event, but soon started chatting over DMs. At that time, both were single and romance started to blossom between the two.
It was on July 28, 2023, that LaPaglia confirmed her relationship status during an episode of the Barstool podcast show, “I think I might have some stuff to address: I've been hanging out with a guy named Zach,” she said. “It’s fun, it’s casual... just wanted to address it because the whole internet is freaking the f--- out and people are doing s---” she added.
A week later on August 4, 2023, Chickenfry opened up about her relationship with Bryan and at one point during the podcast revealed that she was shooting from Bryan’s home in the state of Oklahoma. She also shared a carousel of pictures on her Instagram handle with Bryan eating an ice cream later that day.
The couple once again made an appearance together on the red carpet of the Academy Awards 2024. They dazzled together in black outfits. They recently celebrated their first anniversary on July 14, 2024, until their breakup on October 22, 2024.
