"He's the one that's King Slime" - Young Thug sampled audio from his bond hearing in the YSL RICO Case on the track "Ninja" from "UY SCUTI" 

Young Thug reportedly sampled audio from his bond hearing in the YSL RICO case on the intro track ‘Ninja’ from his new album, UY Scuti.

As seen in a clip now going viral, one of the prosecuting attorneys in the case pleaded with the presiding judge to deny Thug's plea for bond.

"He's the one directing traffic. He's the one they're all afraid of. He's the one that's King Slime. He's pulling the shots; he is the most dangerous of the 28, judge. And I implore you not to grant him a bond; he is dangerous. The setup they have given to you is actually going to be less controlled, not more."

He was referring to the 28 individuals indicted under Georgia's RICO Act in May 2022, with prosecutors alleging YSL, or Young Slime Life, operated as a street gang with Young Thug as its leader.

All Hip Hop has reported that the rapper eventually pleaded guilty to one racketeering charge, for which he was given probation. He also conceded that YSL was a gang.

According to Billboard, Young Thug was released from jail in October last year. Nearly 11 months later, he returned with his new album, UY Scuti, which dropped on Friday, September 26.

He released several tracks beginning this April, including "Money on Money" featuring Future, and "Miss My Dogs," which came out in September. In the latter track, he issued a public apology to several figures in his life, including his current partner, Mariah the Scientist, Drake, Gucci Mane, Future, Lil Baby, and 21 Savage.

His last album, Business Is Business, came out when he was still behind bars in June 2023. As for UY Scuti, he was scheduled to drop it earlier this month, though Cardi B's Am I The Drama? came out on September 19, so he pushed it by a few days:

"Y'all know I wasn't dropping Friday. It's a ladies day," he penned on X.

Regarding snitching allegations, leaked audio last month captured Young Thug naming Gunna as assisting prosecutors with the RICO case, claiming Gunna had labeled YSL a gang and implicated others.

“He gave the jurors the agreement that it’s a gang. He said YSL is a gang and he know people in this trial who committed crimes in furtherance of the gang. That’s a lie. That’s a full-blown lie. That’s RICO. So if a n#### get found guilty on RICO, n####, you really just, you got a n#### life took, n####," he said in the recording, referring to Gunna’s Alford plea.

He was also heard questioning the basis of the state's case, claiming that prosecutors had no proof that the crimes were committed. The tape allegedly pre-dated Gunna's eventual admission of guilt and subsequent acceptance of a plea deal.

“All these charges that they got on everybody in this case, 180-something charges, ain’t none of these charges showing you that somebody committed a crime in furtherance of a gang,” Young Thug said. “They are trying to prove that you did it in furtherance of a gang. You did it to make your gang bigger. They can’t prove no s### like that because there ain’t no f###### gang.”

However, rumors about him tattling further intensified when another leaked 2022 interrogation clip showed him giving authorities information about Peewee Roscoe, who was linked to the 2015 shooting of Lil Wayne's bus.

The rapper has maintained his innocence, stating the video was never used as evidence as it did not support the prosecution's case.
