What to expect on Days of our Lives

Belle (Martha Madison) is not prepared to deal with her sister when she finally confesses her love for EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel). He doesn't hear what she says because he is still unconscious in the hospital from a gunshot wound, but Sami (Alison Sweeney) hears it all and makes sure that Belle knows she is there.

It's an awkward moment for Marlena's (Deidre Hall) two daughters, just as it was when Sami walked in on Belle and EJ in bed a few years back. All Sami can do is smirk, but Belle looks like she wants to crawl under a rock. How will this rivalry for EJ's affections play out this time?

Titans of industry

EJ's shooting also has the DiMera clan in disarray, but the Kiriakis clan plans to take total advantage of the situation while Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) is distracted from her CEO duties. Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Xander (Paul Telfer) make sure that Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is completely on board with their plan to take over DiMera Enterprises. They must strike now while the DiMeras are vulnerable.

Alex agrees to be a part of this takeover, but he is well aware that Philip shouldn't be. However, he agreed to keep that fact a secret for Sarah's (Linsey Godfrey) sake. It just feels dirty to trick Xander (Paul Telfer) when Xander has been so good to him lately.

Kate (Lauren Koslow) doesn't mind tricking Xander as long as it keeps Philip safe. This mess wasn't her idea, but she is always worried about her sons. One of her other sons even shows up this week when Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) returns to town, fresh from his accident with a broken arm. Kate worries that the accident was foul play.

The woman behind it all

If it weren't for Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel), none of this would be happening with the Kiriakis brothers. Vivian was the one who came up with the forged letter idea, and now she is back in Salem, hoping she can collect. If Titan is going to take over DiMera, she wants in.

What are Vivian's other motives, considering that the last time she was in town, she kidnapped her son, Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash)?
