Body and Soul is about to get another soul on set when Nancy Wesley (Patrika Darbo) returns to Salem with her younger daughter, Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins), in town. Joy is there to audition for a part on Body and Soul, and Nancy is in Salem to accompany her.
Bonnie (Judi Evans) is ready to help Joy in whatever way she can and can't wait to tell Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Abe (James Reynolds) that Chloe Lane's (Nadia Bjorlin) sister is also a performer and wants to be on their little soap opera. Will she wow them and stay in Salem for good? Joy is set to make waves with a popular couple and could be as much trouble as her parents were when she was younger.

Will we also get to see what kind of relationship that Nancy and Joy have? We haven't seen her since she was a toddler, but as fans recall, the only reason she was conceived was to be a bone marrow donor for Chloe when she was suffering from leukemia. Is Joy at all resentful at the way she came into the world?
Alex has a dilemma
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) is enjoying all the time he has been spending with Stephanie (Abigail Klein) in various beds, including his own. However, they had originally promised just to be friends. Now, they are friends with benefits, making Alex a little nervous.
When Justin (Wally Kurth) drops by Alex's place for a little father-son bonding time with a pumpkin and some beer, Justin wants to know everything that has been happening in Alex's life. Alex spills everything from his job on a soap to his personal life. Will Justin have any advice for his son on how to handle things with Stephanie?
Stephanie is also confused about his burgeoning relationship with Alex, so will she get any friendly advice as well?
