Days of our Lives spoilers, March 27: Xander's big blunder causes chaos

What to expect on Days of our Lives

Xander (Paul Telfer) has convinced himself that Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) are having an affair and can't wait to tell Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) all about it. He knew he couldn't trust that brother of his. He trusts Alex much more and feels that her should know the truth about his girlfriend — or at least what Xander thinks is the truth.

Xander rips into Philip for his duplicitousness, but Philip denies sleeping with Stephanie. He is relieved that this confrontation is not about the forged letter from Victor, but he also has to deal with Alex's wrath. Xander just stands by in the Kiriakis living room while Alex tries to beat Xander for being a no-good louse who would steal his girl.

Perhaps Alex should go to Stephanie with this new information before he jumps to conclusions and does anything rash. It's not like Xander confronted the parties involved to see if the allegations were true. When Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) asks Stephanie to hide another secret, does it have anything to do with this huge misunderstanding?

Holly's fury

Knowing that Tate (Leo Howard) is the one who reported the news about Doug III (Peyton Meyer) to Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) leaves Holly (Ashley Puzemis) fuming. She told Tate something in confidence, and he went ahead and blabbed it just because he was jealous over all the time that Holly and Doug have been spending together as nothing more than friends.

Tate was right when he told Sophia he feared Holly's reaction when she learned what he did. Holly feels hurt and betrayed by Tate and lets him know it. Doug had to sleep on a park bench, thanks to Tate's big mouth, and that's just not fair. Holly was all ready to ask Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) if Doug could stay before her grandmother dropped a bombshell. Now, she might have to hide Doug in her room.

Is this the line for Holly and Tate? Holly betrayed Tate last fall, and now Tate broke Holly's trust. Maybe this is a sign that they were not meant to be.
