On the plane to Rome Hope says she can't wait to see Bo and wrap her armsaround him, but Franco tells her Bo is still married to Billie, but Hopedisagrees. Hope says she's sorry things turned out like this, andshe just wishes he could be happy too. Hope begins to fantasize about arrivingin Rome and being reunited with Bo. Meanwhile Franco tries to call his boss,and eventually gets through. Franco thinks out loud that he's been ordered to kidnap her. Franco thentells Hope that perhaps Bo could return Billie's feelings after all they've beenthrough, but Hope says no way! Franco thinks out loud that he has to think up a planto stop this happy reunion.

The flight attendant announces the descent into Rome. Hope wants to call Bofrom the airport, but decides it will be more romantic to surprise him.Francothinks out loud to himself again that he loves Hope to much to kidnap her,and just hopes Bo does something tosabotage the reunion.

Bo is stunned when Billie asks him to make love to her. Billie says beforeshe loses him forever could they share one last night together, and she'llnever ask for anything else. Billie says that she was just voicing a hopeandthat she feels so stupid now. Bo says he can't make love to her, it wouldn'tbe fair. Billie says somehow she knew he'd say that, and Bo says he just doesn'twant to hurt her more than he already has.

Bo tells Billie she'll meet someone else,but Billie says she can't get over him and she has this horrible feeling she'llnever see him again like this, alone, just him and her. Billie puts her arms aroundBo, but he tells her they can't do this. Bo tries to convince her to go home withhim, but Billie refuses. Bo says he has to go to the airport, and Billie tells himgoodbye. Bo says he'll never forget what she did for him, and she says she'ddo anything for him.

Bo arrives at the airport and makes an attemptto call Hope, but only gets the answering machine. Suddenly the airport announcesthat due to mechanical problems the flight to Salem has been delayed tillthe following morning. Bo returns to the room, where the bell boy says Billie'sbeen crying all night. Bo knocks on the door, and when Billie opens it she jumps into his arms andsays "You came back!" Bo tells her that the flight was cancelled, and Billiejustsays she didn't know what she was thinking. Bo tries to talk to her, but Billie justasks him to hold her, so he does. Billie then sneaks a kiss in, and Bokisses back.

In the hospital records room Sami learns that Will is Lucas's child, andsays she has to change his blood type before anyone can learn the truth.Unfortunately for Sami she can't gain access to the file, and then she hearssomeone coming. Sami ducks under the desk when two nurses come in.

Sami hears the nurses talking and one of them says because ofSami Brady they had to change the entire security system (years ago Sami changedBelle's blood type to make everyone think Roman was her father, when it was really John).The nurse logs into the system, and when they are beeped to the emergency roomthey leave the computer on. Sami goes to changes Will's blood type, and says thatAustin is the only father her baby will ever had. Suddenly the nurse thenreturns, Sami leaps under the desk again, and the nurse takes the security keydisk. Sami panics,realizing she can't change Will's blood type without thatdisk. Sami says she hopes that nobody will ever have to check Will's blood typeuntil he's an adult since then nobody will give a damn who is father is!

At the hospital Lucas, Austin, Carrie, and Mike are still searching for Sami.Carrie tells Austin this could be what they've been praying for, Sami mayhave her memory back. Austin doesn't think she could do that, but Carriesays the old Sami would if it was the only way to hold onto him. Austin saidif she had her memory back and could walk he'd know. Lucas tells them thattheyare wasting time, and Austin says he may have an idea where she is.Carrie and Austin get into a fight over Sami when Kate shows up, and getsinvolved. Carrie and Austin talk about what it could mean if Sami has her memoryback, and when they hug Mike sees them, who doesn't look happy. MeanwhileKate tells Lucas that this is what she's been waiting for, Sami is about tohangherself. Kate tells Carrie and Austin she's so happy to see them together, andshe hopes that they will be together forever after tonight. Mike shows up, and givesKate bad news about Victor's test results. Mike tells Kate that Victor's leftside has become paralyzed, but with therapy he could improve. Mike suggestsshesend Victor to a rehab facility, but Kate doesn't want to send him away from hisfamily. Mike tells her this facility is right outside of Salem, and Kateeventually agrees.Austincomforts Kate, and she makes him promise not to sacrifice his relationship with Carrie nomatter what Sami may say. Austin doesn't understand, and Carrie says she thinks Sami's memory is alreadyback. When Carrie asks Kate what she thinks Kate just says they need to keepan eye onSami, but Austin thinks if Sami's memory does return he thinks she'll nevergoback to the old ways. Mike finds Lucas and asks him if he and Sami are trying tokeep Austin and Carrie apart. Lucas asks Mike if he really wants Carrie backwithAustin, and he says off course he does. Everyone regroups, and when they are allgoing to go back home Sami walks right into them!

John carries Marlena up to her room, they kiss, and then make love. Johnagain says that he feels like a fool, and Marlena tells him not to, it wasall Kristen's doing. John tells her he's always loved her, and for all thoseyears he's been denying his feelings because he felt she didn't love him.Johnsays there is nothing standing in there way now, and later he brings hersomechampagne and fresh strawberries with whipped cream. Later theyrelax in a bubble bath and kiss more. After the bubble bath John has a candlelitdinner prepared for Marlena. After dinner John asks Marlena to marry him.

At the hospital Carrie yells at Sami "I knew it, you can walk!" Everyone asks her what is going on,and Sami says that she's just been pushing herself to walk and didn't want anyone to know becauseshe wanted to have a party and surprise everyone by walking through the door. Austin says it stilldoesn't explain why she snuck out in the middle of the night to go to the hospital, and asks why sheis here. Sami says she was worried about her mom, and that Stefano tried to kidnap her, and thenshe was in a hospital bed. Sami says she just had to come to make sure, and Carrie says Marlena isfine. Carrie doesn't believe her. Sami swears she onlycame to the hospital to check on her mom, and then she collapses into Austin's arms. Mike takesSami into another room to be examined, and when Carrie asks if Lucas knows what's going on heswears he is clueless. Carrie doesn't believe anything Sami said, and Austin says he doesn'tunderstand why she came here as well. Mike returns, and tells them all that unless somethinghappens to contradict her story they can only trust Sami, but Carrie is positive Sami has her memoryback.

At Marlena's penthouse John asks Marlena to marry him, but she turns away. John asks if he saidsomething wrong, and then apologizes for moving to fast and going too far. Marlena tells him he didn'tgo to far, and that this is the moment she's always dreamed of and she can't believe it's here. Johntells her she is his soul mate, and the women he was meant to spend an eternity with. They both talkabout the past, and how they both tried to deny their love.John says he thinks God has always had a plan for them, and there love has endured throughall circumstances. Marlena says she'll never deny their love again. John gets down on his knee andasks her to marry him once again, and she says yes. John and Marlena both agree that they need toget married immediately, and then Marlena says she hopes Sami will take their relationship wellbecause she's been so sweet and loving lately. John says he wants to call everyone and tell them thegood news, but then Marlena says she's not sure if they can get married. Marlena says he may haveto get an annulment from Susan and she doesn't think Susan will give John up. John says he'll go talkto here right now.

Meanwhile Susan is looking at her old wedding dress and dreaming, and suddenly a man in an Elvissuit shows up in her room singing, and Susan runs into his arms and starts screaming about herprince John and how he's really here. Suddenly she pulls away one she realizes it's not John, but theking of rockin'roll. He asks her who John is, and she tells the real Elvisthat she didn't think he wascoming back so she fell in love with John, but now that he's back she'll never look at another manbut him. Elvis tells Susan he has to go, but he will be back for her, and says he can't help falling inlove with you, and then he vanishes. Later Susan tells little Elvis she doesn't know how to tell Johnabout big Elvis and she doesn't know what to do. Suddenly Lisa Marie (Susan's baby doll) tellsSusan something, and Susan says she's a genius and that's exactly what she's going to do (Do doDo do Do do Do do).

John and Marlena show up to talk to Susan, but she needs to tell John something first. Susan saysshe doesn't want to hurt him, but she can't be together with him anymore. Marlena asks why she haschanged her mind, and she says that Elvis came by and wants to get back together with her. Susansays she hopes John can understand, and he says she has to follow her heart. Susan then asks whathe came to tell her, and he says that he just wants to tell her he'll always be there fore her and ElvisJr.. John holds little Elvis, and when Marlena asks who his daddy really is Susan says she can't tellthem that, it would just be way to exciting for Salem to handle.After John and Marlena leave Susantells Elvis if they only knew what she knew, ohhhhh boy. Susan says she is going to burst if she tellssomeone, so she tells Lisa Marie. Suddenly she starts shaking the dolland screaming "Stop theinsanity!" Susan says if Lisa Marie reacted like this then she can't tell anyone her secret.

In Rome Hope is still dreaming about being reunited with Bo, and she and Franco take a taxi to thehotel. At the hotel Billie kisses Bo, and he pulls away. Billie rubs his chest and asks him to makelove to her, and he begins kissing her back. Bo pushes her away once again and says they can't dothis, there are other people to consider. Billie asks Bo to remember when they made love, and shesays it was like nothing she's never experienced. Billie says it's a feeling she'll never forget, andwants to experience it again, she also says she thinks Bo would to if he'd let go. Bo says that heloves Hope and he can't. Billie says after everything they've been through she needs him to touchher, hold her, and make love to her this one night, and Hope will never know. Bo kisses Billie again,and downstairs Franco and Hope have arrived. Franco asks a bell boy about Bo and Billie, and hetells Franco that those two are very much in love. Franco bribes the man to do something, and heagrees. Upstairs Bo stops Billie once again and starts thinking about how Billie saved everyone'slives he's cared about, and he owes her his life. Billie says everything she did was because she lovedhim, and asks him once again to make love to her. Back downstairs Franco tells Hope that he'sarranged for Hope to surprise Bo by slipping into bed with him, and he bribed the bell boy to givehim the key to Bo's room. Hope is excited, and they go up to Bo's room. In the room Bo tells Billiethat any man would be lucky to be with her, but she only wants him. Billie says she doesn't wantanyone but Bo, and asks him for one last memory to hang onto, and asks him to show her howspecial she is. Billie lays on the sap about how she can't go on without him and she just needs to feelspecial for one more night, then she could at least hold onto that feeling for the rest of her life, anddumb dumb Bo starts kissing her again. Bo tells her that when she left Salem and him he felt like hisheart was ripped out, and he didn't think he could go on. Billie and Bo start kissing, and as they fallonto the bed Hope approaches there door. Franco hands Hope hey key, and as she opens the doorBo and Billie are in bed, Bo has his shirt off, but his pants on.

Shocked seeing Bo and Billie in bed together, Hope slips out of thehotel room without letting them know. While she suffers Franco makes amystery call and informs his employer thateverything has worked out to end Bo and Hope's relationship.

Later, Bo makes plans to return to Salem, unaware that Hope caught him inbed with Billie. In jail, King learns that Billie is going to be alone inRome andputs into motion a plan to pay her back for what she did to him.

Kate prepares for Victor to be transferred to a private hospital outside ofSalem. Hearing about the transfer, a scheming Sami decides to use theoccasion to get into the hospital records room in order to tryand change Will's blood type records. But when Kate, Sami, Austin and theothers arrive, Sami finds it impossible to gain access to the computer.Realizing that she must make the change to keep her scheme secret, Samiasks Maggie if she might be able to get a job at the hospital. Carrie'ssurprised about Sami working again in the hospital.

Mickey takes Austin aside and explains that there may be a way for him tobe free of Sami once and for all so that he can be back with Carrie.

Jack gets a copy of the The Spectator which reveals the news about Kristen,Vivian, Ivan, and Stefano. Jack realizes this may mean that Peter is aliveand he could be freed. Mickey, meanwhile, arranges for Jennifer and Abby tovisit Jack in prison. Before she leaves, Trent comes over to install thealarm system, and Jennifer leaves Mike in charge. When they arrive, Jennifer tellsJack everything, and he worries that Peter might come after her again. Jenntells him not to worry because her new neighbor is installing an alarmsystem. Jack tells her to be careful, remembering that his cellmate Travisused to install alarms and then break into the same properties. Jack iscompletely unaware that Jenn's neighbor Trent is, in fact, Travis, workingfor Stefano.

John plans a surprise for Marlena, Lexie, Carrie, Laura, and Jennifer - afull day of pampering at the spa. Lexie and Marlena rush off, to be joinedlater by the others. While they are relaxing, Lexie confesses to Marlenathat she is fascinated by Stefano and afraid that she will be unable toresist his power. Marlena tells her she is strong and courageous and thatshe will do the right thing when the time comes. Carrie and Laura arrive,and Carrie tells Marlena about Sami's ability to walk, and her fears thatSami has her memory back and isn't telling anyone. Laura tells Carrie not towait around forever for a man who may never be free, hoping that Carrie willgive up on Austin and take an interest in Mike. Marlena goes to a privateroom and falls asleep. While she is napping, a disguised Stefano creeps inand pours ether on a cloth, intending to take Marlena away. He figures thatJohn will never expect him to strike so soon, and he is right. But bycoincidence, John and Abe stop by the spa while Stefano is there. Just asStefano is about to knock Marlena out, Lexie comes into the room. Stefanoconfronts her and pleads with her to be silent about Marlena, and to comewith them to the island so he can get to know his daughter better. Lexiefeels the force of Stefano's personality, but resists him, screaming for helpand pulling the alarm. Marlena wakes up in time to see a furious Stefanodashing out of the room. John and Abe rush in and send people out afterStefano, but he eludes them again. John is furious that he let his guarddown, but Marlena is just grateful that he is all right, and refuses to letStefano ruin their day. Little does she know that John has already bought aring for her, which he showed to Abe. Back at the penthouse, he tells her heis planning a special dinner for her, and has a surprise, but won't tell herwhat it is.

Kristen and Vivian are bickering endlessly as they share a cell at the Salempolice station, with Ivan across the hall. Vivian blames Kristen for herincarceration, but Kristen tells her to quit whining because she knew whatshe was getting into. Their lawyer show up and tell them that if theycooperate with the DA by telling everything about Peter, they might get offeasier. Vivian is ready to spill her guts, but Kristen stops her, remindingher that Stefano will get them off if they keep his secret, and John will getthem out on bail. Vivian thinks she's crazy, but keeps silent for the timebeing. Kristen demands to see John, who happens to be upstairs showing offhis ring for Marlena to Abe. John comes down and Kristen tries to play cutewith him, assuming he has realized she did it all for love and has forgivenher. But John makes it very clear that he wants nothing to do with her everagain. Kristen doesn't lose hope, thinking John is being influenced byMarlena and will come around. Just then, a guard enters. Kristen realizesit's Stefano and rejoices, thinking he's come to save her. But Stefano isfurious with her for spoiling his plan to kidnap Marlena. He tells her shehas betrayed him and is on her own from now on. Kristen is shocked, andVivian realizes that since no one is going to help her, she has to helpherself.

In Rome, Billie tries to pull herself together after Bo's departure. Shecalls Kate and tells her what happened with Bo, and that the marriage was afarce. Kate is furious at Bo, but Billie tells her it's not Bo's fault andthat what they accomplished was worth the price. Bo calls Billie from theairplane and she pretends that she is fine. She is totally unaware that Maxis listening to her. After saying goodbye to her hotel room, Billie runsinto the fortune teller, who warns her that she is in great danger. Billieis skeptical, but says she'll be careful. As she walks, Billie gets thesense that someone is following her. Panicked, she begins to run.

Bo thinks about Hope on the plane to Salem and calls Mrs. H., who does notpass on Hope's message. By the time Bo arrives in Salem, he is dying to getback together with Hope and dashes over to Mrs. Horton's. She tells him faceto face that Hope does not want to see him. Bo is thoughtful, but notalarmed, since he assumes she doesn't know about the undercover operationyet. He reassures Mrs. Horton that he loves Hope with all his heart and thathe will probably see her tonight at John and Marlena's party at the PenthouseGrill.

Austin plays with Will while Sami watches, concealing her worry over hersecret. When Lucas arrives, Sami actually slams the door in his face.Austin, surprised and amused, lets Lucas in and Sami claims she stumbled andaccidentally slammed the door on Lucas. Lucas has a new toy dinosaur forWill, and Austin is pleased, but Sami tells him to stop spoiling his nephew.For once, Austin takes Lucas' side and says he appreciates Lucas being niceto Will. Austin leaves to take Will to Wendy's while Sami changes for theparty. Lucas grills Sami about her new attitude. Sami says she and Austinare moving to the country and Lucas needs to wean himself from Will. Lucasreacts with surprising vehemence, saying he will never become distant fromhis beloved nephew. Again, he asks Sami what she's up to, but she chalks itup to nerves about seeing her mother again.

Carrie and Mike go walking and Carrie cries on Mike's shoulder about Austinagain, saying he will never be able to commit to her as long as he feelsobligated to Sami. But when she gets home, she sees Austin and he tells herhe may have a surprise for her, a way that they can be together soon. Carrieis skeptical at first, but she and Austin exchange a passionate kiss and shepromises to wait a little longer. When Mike sees her later, she is walkingon air, and Mike has to conceal his disappointment. Laura tells Mike that heshould go after Carrie, but he insists they're just friends.

Kristen, Vivian, and Ivan are let out on bail. Kristen is still deludedenough to think that John loves her and is waiting at the mansion - it's herbirthday, she says, and John would never forget that. Vivian and Ivan go tothe Kiriakis mansion, where Kate very gleefully sends them packing. Theydecide to go to the DiMera mansion until they can find a place to stay.There they find Kristen puzzled that John is not waiting for her, but stillbelieving John has some great surprise party planned for her at the PenthouseGrill. Vivian tells her she's crazy, but they go to the Grill with heranyway.

John tells Marlena to get dressed up to go out, although he won't tell herwhat the surprise is. She wows him in a gorgeous red gown. By the time theyget to the Penthouse Grill, all their friends and family are waiting, andgive them a round of applause. Bo sees Abe there and Abe tells him that hetold Hope the truth. Bo is puzzled as to why she is still avoiding him, butsays he can't really blame her. Lucas tells Kate about Sami's new coldnesstoward his relationship with Will, and Kate tells him to keep his eyes open,certain that Sami is up to something. Marlena sees Sami and, to her delight,Sami stands up and walks to her to give her a hug. Carrie watches closely,thinking that if Sami slips up, it will be now. Marlena asks Sami about thehospital episode, but Sami covers, saying she was afraid Austin was keepingsomething from her and just had to find out for herself. Marlena accepts itfor the time being, but tells Carrie she's still on the alert for deception.Austin finds Mickey, who says he can't give him any details yet, but thatAustin and Carrie might be able to get married soon.

Finally, the time comes for John to make his announcement. Unnoticed,Vivian, Ivan, and Kristen arrive just in time to hear it. John says howhappy he is to be back with Marlena, and to everyone's astonishment, pullsout the ring and publicly asks her to marry him. Marlena tearfully accepts,and John puts it on her finger, announcing they will be married in two days.Suddenly, shockingly, Kristen wails at the top of her lungs,"Nooooooooooooooooo!"
