The shocking firing from the hospital surely stuns several Salemites, while another is encouraged to seize the opportunity

As Leo continues to latch onto Craig, Chad chooses to scheme with Sonny and Will to take down the lech

Chad may have a change of heart before he brings down Leo, but Abigail also assists with the plan

Still, the idea of what Chad must pretend he'll do to destroy Leo's hold on Craig has him feeling a little queasy

Chad feels more than a little uneasy when he discovers it was the devil disguised as E.J. assaulting Abigail

Cunning Kate comes up with a scheme to curb Chad's guilt and point the finger in another direction, but he may not agree with his ally's plan of attack

The bond between old allies might be broken for good when new CEO with a grudge, Gabi, pink-slips Kate

Jake may question why he ever allied himself with Gabi when he finds her and Satan in a somewhat scandalous state

There's a stir at Statesville when an incarcerated E.J. gets a visit from his vivacious mother, Susan, whose psychic vibes thrive

More stirring are the memories E.J.'s been recovering about the night many years ago when he was shot and seemingly "killed"

E.J. eventually recollects the shooter specifically, and chaos commences between him and his cellmate, Clyde

While Shawn continues to look into Eli's shooting and his loved ones continue to hope he will wake, terrible T.R. certainly wishes otherwise

Belle is terribly shaken by Shawn's stunning statements, not knowing that scheming Satan has struck once again

A bound Belle's to be exorcised, but not all Salemites are sure Satan is possessing the legal eagle

Ben and Ciara are somewhat sure Satan's secured himself in Johnny, while John and Marlena prepare to do battle with the devil once more

Knowing the devil's had designs on them and their baby, Ben and Ciara ask recently coupled Chanel and Allie for a favor

Rafe and Nicole remain Ava's least favorite Salemites, and she hopes that she designed his downfall successfully, as the judgment is determined

Anxiety runs high for Rafe and Nicole as they await word on his fate and hope the court will favor him

It's a bitter battle when an angry Ava has it out with Rafe and Nicole, while Anna is aghast at the latest regarding Sarah
