It's dj vu for Adrienne when Justin pops the question to his former (and hopefully future) bride

A surprised Will and Sonny are on hand to celebrate as Justin asks Adrienne to be his wife -- again

Adrienne is ecstatic to reunite with Jack now that he's back to his old self again, but not all of Jack's meetings go so swimmingly

It's not such a joyous occasion when Jack and Eve discuss their divorce, as Eve isn't ready to let go without a fight

As Eve and Jack attempt to hash things out, Jennifer attempts to snoop into Dr. Rolf's dubious research -- if she can retrieve the files

Dr. Rolf doesn't exactly like what Jennifer's been up to and gives the plucky reporter an ominous warning

The finishing touches are put into place in his dastardly design, meaning Dr. Rolf has Hope exactly where he wants her

Ciara is surprised when she realizes the portrait of Stefano has vanished from the DiMera living room, but...

Ciara would be royally stunned to know that the painting is in the clutches of her very mother, Hope

Hope's peculiar behavior raises the eyebrows of John and Marlena, who notice their friend is a bit off

Hope's curious conduct also causes concern from both Kayla and Roman, while Brady waits for concerning news about the baby's paternity

A pregnancy scare brings Brady and Kristen closer, especially when they hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time

Brady has the answers he was looking for regarding the baby's paternity and ends up back in Kristen's bed (or so it seems)

Wanting to mourn her brother, Kristen is bent on going to Stefan's funeral, but a bothered Brady has another suggestion

An overwhelmed Gabi remains in mourning as she says a final goodbye to Stefan on the day of his funeral

Still, as sad as Gabi is, she is hellbent on making sure that Lani and Eli experience the same kind of misery

Gabi vows vengeance for Stefan as Sonny and Will continue to be concerned about their friend and attempt to lift her spirits

Eli and Lani are in high spirits as they taste some wedding cake samples and continue to plan for their future

Julie and Eli have a candid conversation, and, as they do, Julie gives her grandson some sage advice for the future

Gabi has plans for the future, too, and Lani is shaken when Gabi demands that she leave Eli on the day of their wedding

Matrimony is on the mind of several Salemites, it seems, as Jack surprises Jennifer with a blueberry scone and an engagement ring

Of course, it seems nothing ever comes easy for Jack and Jennifer, and his romantic proposal hits a serious snag

Since he's carrying a baby-sized secret for Sarah, Xander has a proposal for his heart's desire and hopes that she'll agree

Though they've agreed to disagree in the past, Kate has had it with Victor and sets her sights on bringing the tycoon down a few pegs

Ben is elated that Jordan has agreed to let him be part of David's big day and creates a special birthday gift for his nephew

Ciara assists Ben as he works on David's present, but, as young lovers do, tinkering takes a timeout for romance

Unbeknownst to Ben and Ciara, a conniving Jordan uses David's birthday party as a ploy to place Ciara right where she wants her

Cupcakes are made for David's party, but Jordan has a special one in mind for Ciara that's filled with poison

Arianna is left in Jordan's care, and Jordan is little careless with the poisoned cupcake, which nearly results in disaster for Arianna and David

The averted disaster makes Jordan wonder if she's doing the right thing, but she sticks to her plan that Ciara must die, and Ben must be to blame

Partygoers arrive for David's birthday bash, and a blissful Ben can't hide his excitement to be there with his homemade gift in hand

A slightly moved Jordan recognizes Ben's hard work on David's present yet still remains certain that her brother is an ongoing danger

As the birthday bash goes on, cupcakes are consumed and, eventually, Ciara isn't feeling so hot, but it turns out that Rafe is out cold

Doctor who? Days of our Lives casts special guest as a doctor
