Despite the fact that Leo doesn't actually get lucky with Xander, Xander does end up in bed with Sarah

Unlucky for Eric, he stumbles upon the scene and doesn't like that his new friend, Sarah, slept with his mortal enemy

While Xander is far from apologetic over his sexual encounter, a remorseful Sarah attempts to smooth things over with Eric

Xander's (believed) time at the top is short-lived when Victor beckons Brady to the mansion and presents a tempting offer

Brady becomes the new CEO of Titan Industries, which doesn't exactly sit well with Xander -- or Sonny

Brady's corporate win may not be the only positive thing happening for him, as he and Chloe share another close moment

Though J.J. and Haley are getting a little closer, she's immediately smitten with Tripp upon meeting him at the hospital

Tripp put a skip in Haley's step, but Claire can't help her attraction to Tripp, too, and she makes some progress with her dream man

J.J. and Haley's close quarters have them getting to know a lot more about one another, and his green-eyed monster may emerge

As it turns out, both J.J. and Haley like to create tunes and end up bonding over their love of music

J.J. and Haley's bond deepens when she finally admits her secret to him, and J.J., being J.J., wants to help her

Still distancing herself from her sister, Haley, Melinda's political desires cause her to quit her job as the district attorney

Kate is stunned to run into silver-tongued attorney Ted, who wouldn't mind mending fences between them

Hope is curious about Kate and Ted's time together, but Ted simply seems interested in Hope, much to her discomfort

Things are a little uncomfortable when Gabi reaches out to Kate, as she needs a favor only her former partner in crime can help with

Chad doesn't find being tethered to Stefan via the business a comfort, but his big plans for the future may change everything

Abigail learns of the depths to which Chad will go to win her heart back, but she may not be ready to fully welcome him back into her life just yet

There may not be any real winners when Gabi and Stefan's bitterness boils over into a battle for the ages

Jennifer can't seem to win where Jack's concerned, as she finds herself battling Eve and learning distressing news from Kayla

Still, Jennifer is determined to help Jack any way she can and warns him again of Eve's duplicitous nature

J.J. also attempts to get Jack to realize Eve's wily ways while they re-bond a bit as father and son

Eve attempts to do damage control with Jack once again and even bolsters his ego by suggesting he should be Salem's next mayor

Meanwhile, Eve is holding onto many of Dr. Rolf's secrets that several Salemites would love to get their hands on
