Claire now knows about Rafe and Sami's one-night stand -- and isn't sure how to proceed with the information

Seeking advice from her psychiatrist grandmother, Claire clues in Marlena on what happened between Rafe and Sami

A steaming Ciara discovers that Claire discovered Rafe's secret and attempts to do damage control for fear that Claire will expose the truth

Though, Claire exposing the truth might come too late, as Hope stuns Rafe with a grand romantic gesture

At the Horton cabin, Rafe and Hope become husband and wife via a private ceremony presided over by a justice of the peace

The next day, Rafe and Hope celebrate their union with another ceremony at Doug's Place in front of family and friends

As loved ones gather for Rafe and Hope's nuptials, not everyone is thrilled with the groom, especially Claire, who exposes the truth

As an utterly shocked Hope lets Rafe have it, Ciara also lashes out at Claire for destroying her mother's happiness

Ciara declares it's all-out war between her and Claire, and just in case Claire doesn't get the picture, Ciara decks her

Decked out in her best, a saucy Vivian approaches Victor with an unusual plan to form an alliance between their empires

Victor mulls his options regarding his eccentric ex's proposition, but he remains firm on his battle plan against Eve

Brady has his fair share of uncertainties regarding Victor's determination to go forward with their plans to destroy Eve

After discovering Maggie's motivations for leaving Victor, Brady weighs his options as Eve is becoming an important figure in his (and Tate's) life

Steve's life might have been saved by the antidote, but his increasingly blurry vision remains a serious snag

As new tests are run on Steve, Patch gives the rundown to a guilt-ridden John that he would have done the same in his shoes

Steve also attempts to assure John that Kayla will find a way to forgive him, but that might not be the case...

Kayla discloses that Steve's tests conclude that he has severe corneal damage due to the drugs John administered and will likely go blind

Blindsided by Kayla's dire diagnosis, a broken John leaves Steve's side and falls into Marlena's comforting arms

While Kayla and Steve attempt to absorb the severity of his condition, Ciara is there for Tripp as he does the same

Valerie isn't too pleased with the conditions of Eli and Lani's decisions and lets her son know just that

Eli attempts to defend his actions to Valerie, but Valerie also has some choice words for Lani regarding her engagement

Though Eli attempts to convince Lani that their secret is safe, Gabi also connects the dots after Eli makes a confession to her about his night with Lani

Rocked by many recent bombshells, Gabi confides in Sonny about her fears for the future, especially facing prison again

Sonny also finds himself in a sorrowful place, as he's not over Will, whose feelings are also a bit confused these days

Confusing times for Stefan lead him to read up on Abigail's condition, and the source of his studies has a shocking Salem connection

Chad is still on the hunt for a connection between Stefan and Andre's murder, but Abigail may confuse nightmares and reality...

Abigail learns more about Andre's murder via a dream, but Gabigail might just become a nightmare for Vivian

Stefan becomes Vivian's rescuer when she's attacked by Gabigail, but that only leaves Vivian with even more questions

Stefan informs Vivian that Gabigail is in the know about them being in Andre's office the night of the murder

Realizing the damage that revelation could do, Vivian and Stefan agree to do whatever it takes to keep their secrets buried with Andre

Sneaky Stefan suggests a plan to ensure all of their problems will go away (and implement some other poor Salemite)

Each wishing the other would go away, it's just like old times when Vivian and Kate have a clash of the titans
