Days of our Lives YAPP Recap, October 10: When doctor-patient confidentiality flies the coop

Welcome to Days of our Lives Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:

What happened on Days of our Lives

FINALLY!!! It took about five Salemites to figure it out (Brady, Kayla, Sarah, Johnny, Chanel), but the truth (or part of the truth) is out there. Sarah pretty much dropped any pretense of doctor-patient confidentiality when he blabbed the whole truth about Sophia's baby to Kayla. We watched with out jaws dropped as we remembered the speech Sarah gave Sophia months ago, telling her that HIPAA laws prevented her from telling another living soul Sophia's secret. And no, doctors can't talk about patients to other doctors unless it's for a specific medical consult, which Sarah's conversation with Kayla was not. At least Kayla pointed out that Sarah had pushed the boundaries, except she did more than push them; she pretty much broke them. But boy oh boy did they both push them with Brady. They knew exactly what Brady would deduce from their cryptic language, and he did. Meanwhile, fans have been saying that Tate wasn't the father of Sophia's baby from the time she announced her pregnancy. With Aaron being on today, it seems clear that he is the father, but isn't that just a little too easy? While Tate's life may change in an instant next week, we are hoping for a twist here so we can get a shocking baby daddy surprise. After all, it is a soap, so let's keep things soapy.
