Get ready for another comeback from Lani and Eli as Days of our Lives welcomes back two fan favorites.
Days of our Lives' Abe and Paulina will celebrate their second anniversary next week on June 19. Their daughter, Lani will be there to celebrate with her husband, Eli, as Sal Stowers and Lamon Archey put in their second appearance on the soap this year, according to Soap Opera Digest.
Abe and Paulina married on that day because it marked the end of American slavery in 1865 and 2022 was the second time Juneteenth was celebrated as a national holiday. However, their reception was not without drama. Lani chose to confess to killing her biological father, TR, to protect her mother from his wrath. Lani was shipped off to a prison out of state and Eli moved there with their twins, Jules and Carver, so they could be near her.
In 2023, Lani was released on furlough when Abe was presumed dead. She finished her sentence months later and was able to visit Salem without an ankle bracelet when Paulina was suffering from cancer earlier this year.

Stowers made her first Days of our Lives appearance in September 2015 when she arrived in Salem to tell Abe he had a long-lost daughter. Lani eventually learned that Tamara Price was not her mother and Abe was not her real father. Instead, Paulina gave Lani to her sister to raise to keep her away from her abusive ex, TR.
Archey arrived on the Salem scene in 2017 as the grandson Julie never knew she had. Eli is the son of Julie's late son, David Banning, and his ex-girlfriend, Valerie Grant.
