Days of our Lives' Susan Hayes has a tiny new family member to celebrate

Days of our Lives icon Susan Hayes couldn't wait to show off this adorable little bundle of joy.

Susan Hayes, who has endeared herself to Days of our Lives fans for more than half a century as Julie Williams, was proud to show off the latest member of the Hayes clan recently as a new little boy made his way into the world.

"Great-Grandma, Susan Hayes, holding Symphony Hayes Samuel. My proud grandson, Dave Samuel, beaming on us both. Wishing the world a Happy Easter!" Hayes posted on her Instagram account, accompanied by a sweet photo of the baby and her grandson Dave.

Susan and her late husband, Bill Hayes (Doug), were thrilled when their three great-granddaughters, Uma, Eden, and Annabelle, appeared on DAYS back in 2014, tweeting a behind-the-scenes pic of the event.

"Sprouting talent: our great-granddaughters Uma, Eden and Annabelle Samuel. Ready for their close-up!" they wrote.

Hayes, who lost her husband of more than 50 years in January has been doing her best to keep a positive outlook on life, sharing photos of her life with Bill. She also stepped out with one of her BFFs, Deidre Hall (Marlena), for lunch as March ended, posting a snap of the friendly catch-up on Instagram.

"Hall & Hayes shared fish and chips and chuckles over storylines, past, present... and who knows what's next?!"
