If you're looking to see some familiar faces, both past and present, from some of your favorite soaps this holiday season, you're in luck! David Fumero (ex-Cristian Vega, One Life to Live), Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez, Days of our Lives; ex-Lola Montez, OLTL), and Mark Hapka (ex-Nathan Horton, DAYS) are all set to appear in a new holiday film on November 17 on Lifetime.
Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez, DAYS; ex-Lola Montez, OLTL), David Fumero (ex-Cristian Vega, OLTL), and Mark Hapka (ex-Nathan Horton, DAYS) are all set to star in the film Sweet Navidad, which is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, November 17, on Lifetime.
According to a synopsis of the film, Banus will play Carmen Tirado, a pastry chef who dreams of opening her own store. Hapka will play Jax, Carmen's love interest. Fumero will play Victor Flores, who hires Carmen for his holiday event.
IMDb teases that Banus' character will have to team with Fumero's character to "learn from one another and eventually come together to create a truly inspired menu in time for Christmas."
Adding another name familiar to daytime fans, former OLTL cast member Brittany Underwood (ex-Langston Wilde) will direct the film. Sweet Navidad is the third film that Underwood has directed following the 2021 suspense/thriller Dangerous Snow Day and Cheating for Your Life, which debuted on March 13 of this year on Lifetime.
Banus received multiple pre-nominations for Daytime Emmy. In 2015, she scored a nomination for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series.
Are you excited to see all these stars in one holiday film? We want to hear from you -- and there are many ways you can share your thoughts.
