With the COVID-19 pandemic still going on, Friends actress Jennifer Aniston is said to have convinced Days of our Lives to allow her father, John Aniston (Victor Kiriakis), to film his scenes at his own residence.
Working from home is the norm these days, but not everyone has a job that allows them to perform their duties remotely -- soap opera actors included. But according to a tabloid report, Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston may have changed that for her father, John Aniston, who plays the iconic role of Victor Kiriakis on Days of our Lives.
Though the NBC soap opera is reportedly taking every precaution with strict COVID-19 safety guidelines in place, The Sun reports that Jennifer was reportedly very worried about her 87-year-old dad returning to work when DAYS resumed production in September. As a result, she is said to have convinced the soap's producers to allow him to film his scenes at home.
A source told the tabloid, "When John told Jen he was going back when the soap resumed taping, she immediately put her foot down. She insisted that, at his age, he was putting himself at risk by going on set in Burbank. Jen persuaded him to talk to producers about taping his scenes at home."

The report goes on to say that DAYS execs agreed to Jennifer's request and even went so far as to build sets at John's residence and chauffeur his scene partners to Aniston's in-home set.
But is The Sun report accurate? A behind-the-scenes source at DAYS tells Soap Central that the reports about John Aniston working from home are false and that the actor has been reporting to the studio to film his scenes.
A DAYS rep reminds Soap Central that the show does not comment on rumors.
