Check out the creepy new 48-hour-filmed Permanent Resident, which stars Days of our Lives alum Peter Reckell (ex-Bo Brady) as a man being tormented by an unwanted guest in his home during COVID19 lockdown.
Fans who have been missing Days of our Lives alum Peter Reckell (ex-Bo Brady) will be happy to hear that the actor is the star of a new short film now available for viewing.
Called Permanent Resident, the creepy, three-minute short follows Reckell as a man who finds that one of the worst parts of the COVID-19 lockdown isn't being alone, but rather being tormented by an unwanted guest in his home.
The film was released last week as part of Vista Foundation 48Hours (VF48), a film competition in New Zealand. Filmmakers don't know what genre (thriller, romance etc.) they will be shooting until the start of the competition, and all creativity -- writing, shooting, editing, and adding a musical soundtrack -- must occur within the 48-hour window beginning on a Friday evening at 7PM and ending Sunday at 7PM.

"Our 48 Hours film made in exactly 48 hours starring Peter Reckell is now live," tweeted Reckell's wife, Kelly Moneymaker, of the film that was submitted as part of VF48's "Unwanted Guest" genre.

In other Peter Reckell news, the actor marked the anniversary of his DAYS debut date with a tweet that reads, "I was so lucky to be working with amazing actors who knew how to help the new guy from making a fool of himself."
The actor stepped into the character of Bo Brady on May 9, 1983. He played the character on-again, off-again until retiring from the role in 2016.
