One Life to Live alum Farah Fath, who recently made a return to Days of our Lives, has been blessed with a bun in the oven.
Congratulations are in order for Farah Fath (Mimi Lockhart, Days of our Lives; ex-Gigi Morasco, One Life to Live), who has taken to social media to announce that she and her husband, Phil Galfond, are expecting a baby.
The actress and her hubby, whom she calls her BFF, are especially ecstatic because they suffered a devastating miscarriage nearly three years ago.
"Two and half years ago, Phil and I lost our first baby at almost thirteen weeks," she shares on Instagram. "We were thisclose to announcing just like we are today. We took a little time to recover, live our lives, have some fun, and accomplish some goals. Once we got back in the saddle, getting pregnant again seemed to keep not happening. But at last, we have found ourselves blessed with what the internet calls, our 'rainbow baby.'"

For those who don't know, a rainbow baby is one who follows a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, or infant loss -- a gorgeous miracle that follows stormy times.
"I think it's fitting because to me, rainbows are one of nature's most beautiful occurrences," Fath writes. "So even though our road to becoming parents was slightly bumpy (some women have it SO much worse!), we never once felt sorry for ourselves. Instead, we continued to feel extremely blessed no matter our destiny. Personally speaking, I was always at peace with whatever our future held because it's Phil that is the most important thing in the world to me. Our relationship is all I truly need. But now that I know we are in fact meant to be Mom and Dad, I'm mostly just excited because I'm on this adventure with my BFF."
The upcoming bundle of joy isn't the only reason Fath has to celebrate. She recently made a return to DAYS, which is her first major jump back into the spotlight since OLTL's cancellation in 2012. She did, however, make an appearance in the TV movie Murder, She Baked: A Plum Pudding Mystery opposite DAYS' Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady), All My Children's Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan Lavery), and OLTL's Barbara Niven (ex-Liz Coleman).
Fath became engaged to Galfond in November of 2014. The couple tied the knot on May 15, 2015.
UPDATE (June 30, 2018): Fath and Galfond held a gender reveal party this past weekend and shared the exciting news that their baby... well, you can find out by watching the revealing video below.
