Christopher Sean (Paul Narita) shared a video on social media confirming his exit from Days of our Lives. The actor also confirmed that it was his decision to leave the NBC soap.
In an emotional video posted on Instagram, Christopher Sean (Paul Narita) confirmed what Soap Central first reported last week: he has made the decision to exit Days of our Lives. The actor's video shoots down Internet rumors that he was let go.
"I want to let you all know from me," Sean wrote in an accompanying post. "It was my decision to depart from Days of Our Lives. I loved every day I was a part of it and am so appreciative to the entire Cast and Crew and to Bruce Evans, Ken Corday, Greg Meng, Albert Alarr, Janet and Marnie [Saitta, DAYS' casting director] and everyone that's helped me develop into the actor and man I am today. I will miss each and every one of you. This is not good bye though, it's until next time."
Sean also made sure to thank the fans, adding, "I can't thank all of the Fans enough and I hope that I can find another project to keep you entertained with me in the near future. Thank you for always supporting me and loving me. You all rock! Stay amazing my friends. I will never forget my Days at Days. They were some of the Greatest Days of My Life."

Sean has already booked another project -- he will be voicing a character in the upcoming Star Wars Resistance series. The actor did not indicate if the Star Wars project factored into his decision to exit DAYS.
Sean, who joined DAYS in November 2014, taped his final episode on May 25. Those scenes should air around Thanksgiving.
