Starting today, you can purchase To The Beat, the new film directed by Days of our Lives' alum Jillian Clare and starring Eric Martsolf, Martha Madison, Marie Wilson, and Lilly Melgar.

It's pretty common for daytime soaps to focus on the teen scene during the summer months, but To The Beat, the new film directed by Days of our Lives' alum Jillian Clare (ex-Abigail Deveraux), mixes teenagers and soap operas in a whole new way.

As Soap Central previously reported, To The Beat tells the story of 14-year-old twin sisters who enter a contest to be dancers in their favorite pop star's music video. Their decision leads to a battle with their next-door neighbor and rival, a star dancer who wants to be the winner, as well.

To The Beat, starring Eric Martsolf (Brady Black, DAYS), Martha Madison (ex-Belle Black, DAYS), Marie Wilson (ex-Summer Townsend, DAYS; ex-Meg Snyder, As the World Turns), and Lilly Melgar (ex-Lily Rivera, General Hospital), was just released, and it looks like the dramedy is filled with nonstop fun and entertainment.

Wilson plays Camila, the soft-spoken widowed mother of the twins; Melgar plays their fashionista aunt, Ana Sophia; Martsolf portrays Michael Adams, the father of the spoiled neighbor (who she has tightly wrapped around her finger); and Madison plays Clare, the neighbor girl's very Southern mother who is slightly obsessed with Paula Abdul.

Says Claire of her directorial debut: "I'm so excited to be directing some of my favorite costars including Martha, Marie, and Lilly, whom I worked with on Ladies of the Lake, and Eric, who I've known forever and worked with many years ago on Miss Behave. It's definitely these four soap veterans like you've never seen them before as they join about twenty-five teenagers in a fun, family dance movie."

To The Beat was released today on multiple platforms, including iTunes and Amazon.
