Days of our Lives fans have been wondering about the fate of Kate Mansi (Abigail Deveraux) ever since a message board rumor pointed to the possibility that previous portrayer Jillian Clare had been asked back to the series. But is it true that the actress is on her way back to Salem to replace Mansi?

Clare, who played the part of Abigail from 2003 to 2004 before going on to appear in a number of films and television series like Alien Abduction, The Kitchen, Castle, and Suburgatory, was reportedly asked to make a return to the NBC series, but according to Serial Scoop, it is merely a few fans' wishful thinking.
So there you have it: Another Salem rumor "clared" up!
