The Daytime Emmy nominee tweeted she's indeed headed back to Salem.
Remember that top-secret news Days of our Lives' Camila Banus (ex-Gabi Hernandez) hinted to when Soap Central spoke with the actress on the red carpet during this year's Daytime Emmy Kick Off party? Well, it turns out the cat came out of the bag early: Banus is returning to the NBC soap!

The actress took to Twitter with the message: "Guess it's out (: GABI IS BACK!"
As fans may recall, the Outstanding Younger Actress nominee walked away from the soap in June of last year. The story had her alter ego confessing to Nick Fallon's murder (scenes which earned her the nomination) and going to prison.
At this time, there's no word from the DAYS' PR team on the actress' return, including how long Gabi will be back or how her return will impact Will (Guy Wilson), with whom Gabi shares a child.
