Days of our Lives is looking to add a new character to its ranks. The show is casting the 40something actress to play the role of a special prosecutor.
It looks like one Salem resident will soon find themselves on the wrong side of the law. Days of our Lives has just issued a casting call for a special prosecutor.

The prosecutor, named Melinda Trask, is described as "tough, intelligent and confident." DAYS is seeking an experienced African American or Asian actress in the 35- to 50-year-old range."
There's no word yet on when the character will appear on-screen, however, due to DAYS' accelerated tape schedule, the new role probably won't debut until May Sweeps.
