Welcome to The Bold and the Beautiful Daily Y.A.P.P. (Your After-Program Ponderings) for a quick — and by that, I mean you’re already halfway done — recap of the most amazing or what-the-heck-did-we-just-watch moments on today’s episode. Let’s get to it:
What Happened on The Bold and the Beautiful
On today’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, hell froze over. No, not because after two weeks, it’s still the same day in soap time. Hope has had quite the day, hanging out at Brooke’s, hosting everyone from Deacon, Carter (unknowingly), Liam — twice, and Steffy. Yes, Steffy. Who has not only forgotten how unwelcome she is at La Logan’s home, but just walks in the front door because no one in fake L.A. locks their doors, let alone knows how to knock on one. But that’s not the most fascinating part of today. Steffy and Hope put it all behind them. All of it. Everything. The coup, the firing(s), the lifelong hatred. All of it…because Liam asked them to, and very nicely, I might add. And just like that (insert magical handwave here), it was over. Steffy even asked Hope to return to Forrester — and said, “We’re family.” But while they cranked up Sister Sledge, it made me wonder: How can Steffy arbitrarily ask Hope to return to work? If Eric and Ridge couldn’t make that decision without Steffy, how can she make it for them? After convincing both that Hope has no place in their family, much less their family business, this ought to be an interesting turn of events to explain without revealing Liam’s secret. And then there’s Carter. Is he going to want the woman who just ripped his heart out at the office, or will he want her back just so he can pine for her to her face? Or…and I admit this would be kind of funny after it all…maybe Carter will champion against bringing back HFTF and refer to the flailing numbers the line actually had.
