At Forrester, Steffy told Ridge that she forgave him for keeping her mom's health a secret, but only because he stepped up for Taylor. Steffy noted that her mom was a changed person. "That healer really did something," Steffy said.

Ridge agreed and emphasized how well the chakra clearing worked. Steffy noted that Brooke must have been twisted about the Yab-Yum position. Ridge said he gave Brooke a private demonstration later. "Eww!" Steffy said as Brooke walked into the office. Brooke said she was glad Taylor would be okay. Steffy credited Ridge, but Brooke noted the doctors were very capable. Ridge said that he thought being around family helped Taylor the most.

RJ and Zende entered the CEO's office with their sketch pad of designs. Steffy noted they were just waiting on Carter and Hope, and then they could start the Hope for the Future meeting.

Across the hall, Hope was frantically looking for a thumb drive that she needed. Liam was helping her look but assured her everything would work out. Liam offered to take Beth overnight so Hope could relax after work and decompress.

In the hallway, Carter spotted pictures of Hope on Pam's desk. He recalled kissing Hope and how they shared their feelings for one another. He walked into the designers' office and was dismayed to find Liam there.

Carter reminded Hope that she had a meeting. Liam told Hope she would be great and reminded her she had her mom in her corner. Liam looked at Carter and asked if he would take care of Hope. "Count on it," Carter said.

At Spencer Publications, Will asked his dad if he had time to talk. "I have news, but I'm not sure you're going to like it," Will said. Will made his dad promise not to flip out before he told him what was on his mind.

Will revealed that he got an internship. "You joined the team here at Spencer? No one tells me anything!" Bill happily exclaimed. He said he knew Will wanted to be independent and do his own thing. Bill wished Will had come to him first so he could have made connections for his son. "I'm working at Forrester Creations," Will said.

Will quickly explained that he was still transferring schools and not working full-time. Bill was all for the transfer but could not get behind the Forrester "nonsense." Bill told Will to shadow him or Liam at Spencer and learn how to run a real business.

Will said Forrester wasn't just about fashion and clothes, but Bill disagreed. "What are they going to teach you, how to stitch a sequin or hem a dress?" Bill asked. Will said nothing was wrong with being an intern, but Bill told him he didn't want his son getting coffee for a bunch of dressmakers.

Bill guessed that Will didn't want to disappoint his mom. Will stunned Bill by saying, "What you do at Spencer is interesting, but at Forrester Creations, the girls are outrageous!" Bill stared at Will. He clarified that Will wasn't interested in fashion or dressmaking but wanted to be around the girls at Forrester.

"I didn't think there was anything you could tell me that would explain why you would betray your father for your mother and the dressmaker," Bill said. He laughed and added, "But now it all makes sense." Bill told Will to see his dad when he wanted a real job and his true calling.

Will was relieved that his dad wasn't mad. Bill said he wanted to see more of Will. Bill didn't like that Will was living with Katie, and now he would also be working with her. Will suggested they set up a guy's night, and Bill thought that would be great.

Bill told Will that Katie was the greatest woman he had ever known and that he regretted giving her up. "You left mom for her sister more than once," Will said. Will said he loved Bill and Katie and that they were great parents, but that didn't mean they were a good couple.

Bill asked if Will had told Katie that, and he admitted he had. "Are you mad?" Will asked. Bill said he wasn't mad, but he was disappointed in himself. "You and your mom don't trust me the way I want you to," Bill explained.

Liam walked in and realized he had interrupted a serious conversation. He wanted to know what they were talking about, but Bill said they were planning a guy's night. Liam told Bill that Will helped him realize he wanted a life with Hope again.

In the CEO's office, RJ thanked everyone for being supportive during the Luna situation. RJ and Zende said Luna hadn't tried contacting them. Zende assured everyone that they had been focused on work. RJ said he felt good about his designs and credited Zende for being a good mentor.

Carter and Hope joined them and started the meeting. Steffy said the Hope for the Future line showed promise but needed the sales numbers up, as collections were judged based on them. Steffy asked Carter where they stood in sales.

Carter began by noting the success of Brooke's Bedroom and how much support Ridge had given the line. Carter asked if Eric was returning to work, but Ridge told him that he and Steffy were running the company and would continue to do so.

Steffy repeatedly asked Carter for the numbers, but he wouldn't give specifics. Finally, he relented that the numbers weren't where they should be. "How are we going to keep the line afloat?" Steffy asked. Brooke, RJ, and Zende immediately argued with her about keeping the line.

Zende asked for more time, but Carter said more time wasn't what was needed. Carter pointed out that the bedroom line was successful because it benefitted from the resources they put into it. Carter said giving HFTF things like social media drops, the Monte Carlo trip, and music by Danny Romalotti and J.J. would be more impactful than just giving the line more time.

Carter motioned to RJ and Zende and noted that the line had a young, passionate team dedicated to making it a success. Carter concluded that profits usually mattered, but this was a family business, and he and Hope were family.

Ridge told Carter that throwing money at an underperforming line didn't make sense. Carter said if he were only looking at balance sheets, he would agree, but he was looking at the woman that Hope was.

Carter started listing compliments about Hope and called her a beacon of light in the company. He said the message HFTF sent was powerful, and they couldn't put a price on its social impact. Carter said Forrester would lose its most meaningful line and its conscience without Hope.

Hope gazed in awe as Carter went all in. "The line has a solid leader and foundation. All it needs now is the spotlight we can give it." Carter said Ridge asked for his opinion, and he gave it. "We do not give up on Hope and Hope for the Future," Carter said.
