Taylor and Finn looked over a postcard from Steffy and the kids and bonded over how they missed her. However, it served as a reminder of how Finn has kept Luna's return to life a secret from her. He struggled with withholding such vital information from his wife. They knew it was the right thing to do to tell Steffy, but things were more complicated than that.

Thankfully for Finn, Taylor recognized how complicated this was for Finn because of his relationship to Luna as her father.

Electra finally made it out of the Forrester mansion and spent time with Will at the office. He was happy to spend time with her, and he assured her that their relationship wasn't a lost cause. Again, she expressed her love for him, but the idea of Luna carrying his baby freaked her out.

Will received a text from Bill that the paternity test was taking place momentarily. Will and Electra raced over to the Spencer estate, ready for the results.

At Brooke's, Bridget was back in town for the paternity test, but she couldn't grasp how Luna was still alive. Ridge expressed how it was a shock for everyone, and Brooke told her daughter to relay the results as soon as possible. Leaving Luna at Bill's went against everything Ridge believed in, so he itched at the idea of sending her back to prison after the results.

Brooke stressed over the toll Luna's pregnancy was taking on Katie. Ridge believed the only reason Bill is so much against Luna now is that it impacts his children directly. If Liam and Will weren't directly affected by her crimes, perhaps nothing would've changed. However, he agreed that they both deeply fought for their children, so Lina's days were numbered.

Ridge referred to Li bringing Luna back to life as a "reckless mistake" and phoned Taylor about the test. Taylor was surprised at how quickly the test was happening, but she decided to meet Brooke and Ridge, with Finn, to await the results together.

Once they arrived, Brooke relayed to Taylor and Finn that Bridget was the best option because they could trust her wholeheartedly. Finn apologized on behalf of Li for faking Luna's death, but he couldn't believe she did this. Her career was on the line because of this massive miscalculation. Soon enough, everyone would know if her "mistake" resulted in the life of a Spencer heir.

Taylor offered to refer Will to a psychologist because of what Luna did to him. He was sexually assaulted and might need treatment. However, Brooke didn't think the gravity of how Luna targeted him had fully set in. Finn compared the situation to his and Poppy's because of their similar age to him and Will at the time of conception. The biggest struggle the four of them faced was when to tell Steffy. There was an innate desire to protect her from the threat of Luna, but Finn questioned if he could shield her much longer. Ridge told the group, "Let's make sure Luna is behind bars before Steffy gets back."

Bill and Katie summoned Luna downstairs, but she asked if it could wait so she could lounge by the pool. They looked at her as if she were a three-headed monster from Ancient Green and informed her that it was time for the paternity test. Suddenly, Luna was far enough along for the test, so since someone they trusted could administer the test, it was time.

Bill and Katie pointed out that Luna needed to be caught off guard to ensure she couldn't impact the results. The doorbell rang, and Bridget walked through. A confident Katie told Luna, "You remember my niece, Dr. Bridgert Forrester? She's someone that Bill and I trust implicitly to handle a situation as sensitive as this, so she'll be performing the paternity test. There'll be no room for altering or influencing." Luna wasn't shaken by this arrival, which hinted she may be telling the truth.

Katie thanked Bridget for taking the time to handle this, and Bill followed up and reminded her of the sensitivity of the test. Bridget was stunned to look at Luna since her coworker, Li, told Bridget that her granddaughter had perished. Luna remained confident that she was carrying Will's baby, but Katie appeared certain that it would be disproven. Someone was on the verge of disappointment.

Luna questioned the delay, but once Will arrived, it was time to finally get answers. Bridget gave a medical talk about the details of the procedure and informed both parties what was entailed. Will was ready to put this behind him, but Luna remained sure of herself and her baby's paternity.

Luna wondered how long until the results were ready, but Bridge came prepared with a method to get rapid results. She won't leave them without confirmation or denial of Luna's claims. The tension was palpable across everyone's face, namely Katie. The rest of their lives would be determined by whatever the results stated.

Bill refused to look away from Luna because of their past. She conned him once, and he refused to let her dupe him again.

Bill observed Luna's demeanor change to nervousness instead of her usual bravado. Unfortunately for the Spencer family, Luna hadn't let up on her hope that the pregnancy would bring her and Will back together. This prompted Electra to get involved and trade a few verbal barbs with Luna. The timer for the results went off, and Bridget informed everyone that it was time to discover if Luna was telling the truth or not.

The tension continued to rise at the Spencer mansion. The longer things took, the more it appeared to look like everyone was nervous that Luna was telling the truth. Will demanded to know if Luna was lying. He asked Bridget, "Please, Bridget. What does it say? Tell me, I'm not the father."
