At Forrester Creations, Katie filled Donna in on the Forrester family getting back the company and how Carter tore up the LLC papers. "Hope is out?" Donna asked. Katie said that Steffy had torn into Hope, and it was ugly. Katie wasn't sure what this development would do to Brooke and Hope's relationship.
Donna believed that Logan women stick together, so Brooke and Hope will be able to work things out. Hearing "Logan women" prompted Katie to remember that their late mother's birthday was coming up. Katie noted that Beth had been gone for so long, and she wondered what she would think of all of this. "It still hits me," Katie said of her mother not being there. "I'll be driving in my car, and a song will come on, and I'll just totally lose it." Donna pointed out that Beth was a single mom who kept the family together. "She was so strong," Katie said. Donna hoped that Brooke and Hope would be able to hang onto that Logan strength.
At home, Brooke recalled Taylor telling her that she and Ridge have recommitted their love. "Just come back to me where you belong," Brooke remembered hearing. She was interrupted by Hope, who showed up and slammed Brooke's door. She wanted to know how her mother could do this to her.
Brooke told Hope she lost the love of her life because she sided with Carter and Hope during the takeover. Hope insisted that all she ever tried to do was stand up for what was right and fair. "I never wanted you to take over the company," Brooke cried. Hope said she and Carter made Brooke the CEO because they thought she was on board with them. "I did it for Ridge!" Brooke exclaimed.
Brooke told a stunned Hope that Eric and Ridge didn't deserve to lose their life's legacy. Hope asked if she deserved to be humiliated. "That is not what we're talking about here," Brooke argued. Hope felt her mom chose the Forresters over her, but Brooke denied it. Hope said Brooke couldn't defend what she did, but Brooke shot back that neither could Hope. "Ridge left me because of it, Hope," Brooke lamented.
Hope said that all Brooke cared about was Ridge — not that her daughter had lost her career. She pointed out that they were launching lines and collections, but none of that mattered because she had lost Ridge. "Why are you never there when I need your support?" Hope cried. "Just once, I wanted you to pick me."
Brooke told Hope she loved her. "Just not as much as you love Ridge," Hope replied. "You continue to demean yourself for that man. So where is he, Mom? Where's Ridge?" She called out Ridge's name but then mocked, "Oh, that's right. He's with Taylor. How many times are you going to let that man make a fool of you?"
Just then, Katie interrupted, ordering Hope not to dare talk to her mother like that. "She did what she thought was right," Katie said firmly. "You knew?" a stunned Hope asked Katie. "My own family made a fool of me. Well, I really have lost everything, haven't I? Even my own mother."
Hope suggested that the only reason her last name is "Logan" and not "Sharpe" is because Brooke was too ashamed to give her her father's name. Katie urged her niece to stop saying things she would regret and couldn't take back.
Hope shouted back that Brooke wasn't there for her today. "Did she walk out with me in solidarity? No. She would rather watch Steffy win at my expense than be there for her own daughter. All because you wanted to get back with Ridge. You abandoned me when I needed you the most. Instead, you just want your precious destiny," Hope yelled at her mother.
Brooke countered that Hope didn't understand what she and Ridge shared. "Had," stated Hope. "He doesn't want you anymore. When are you going to get that? You would rather betray your own daughter and be with a man that drops you at the slightest inconvenience. How is that love?"
Brooke explained that she loved Ridge but that he was going to stay with Taylor. She added that Steffy was wrong and that Hope was, too. Brooke said that Hope needed to accept responsibility for her actions and that she would not be spoken to that way in her own home. Hope asked her mother if she was kicking her out.
Hope recalled Ridge calling her a "whore" and a "bitch." Katie implored for the argument to end, but Hope asked when the cycle of Brooke constantly choosing the Forresters over her was ever going to end. Katie pointed out that Carter accepted responsibility for his actions. Brooke said she warned Hope that her actions would have consequences, but Hope wouldn't listen. "You are not my daughter!" Brooke shouted at Hope. Katie got in between Hope and Brooke before Hope could physically attack her mom.
Brooke grabbed a crying Hope to stop her from leaving. "I'm sorry, Mom. I've lost everything. I'm sorry..." Hope cried in her arms.
At Steffy's cliff house, she and Taylor celebrated the Forrester's winning back the company with root beer floats. "Dad chose you, our family, over Brooke," Steffy enthused to her mother. Taylor said that she could never love anyone the way she loved Ridge. Her mended heart is much better.
"Justice has been served," Steffy cheered. She said it's the end of Hope and Carter, and, more importantly, Brooke and Ridge. Steffy toasted to her parents being back together. Taylor told Steffy that she reminded her so much of Stephanie — strong, smart, and a force with which to be reckoned. "I imagine what she would say to me," Steffy wondered. "She loved you so much," Taylor noted. Steffy was determined to live up to Stephanie's legacy. "It finally happened," Steffy sighed. "We won." She wasn't just talking about Hope being out of Forrester, but also that Ridge wants a life with Taylor.
"When he walks in the room, I feel like my heart is going to jump out of my chest," Taylor said, quipping, "I promise I won't start singing." Steffy promised her mother that everything they shared over a root beer float says there.
Steffy lovingly told her mom that she never doubted Taylor's love for her; Taylor called Steffy her gift. "I know," Steffy playfully shot back. The two women laughed and hugged, and when a song came on, they danced in celebration.
