At Forrester, preparations for the next Brooke’s Bedroom shoot were underway. Eric gathered everyone, noting the success they’d had after Danny Romalotti had signed on. Zende and R.J. had worked on footage for a new Brooke’s Bedroom video. Steffy mentioned the band Kaleo, and Hope was thrilled to hear that the singer would be in the new video.
As Steffy prepared to meet J.J. upstairs, Hope tried to make a pitch to go herself. Steffy declined, stating that no one needed Hope to do that. Steffy revealed that Finn would be there, and she admonished Hope about respecting Steffy’s marriage.

Steffy left, and Carter asked Hope if she was okay. Hope figured she needed to put Steffy out of her mind and concentrate on the special parts of the job, like working with an Icelandic rock star.
Finn arrived. Hope greeted him, noting that he was a big Kaleo fan. He guessed Steffy had told her. Hope joked, wondering if he’d “fanboy out.” Finn hoped to at least get a picture with J.J.

Bridget arrived, and her parents greeted her. Bridget was super excited, and Brooke wondered if it was about the line or the rock star. Ridge said J.J. would be arriving soon. Carter noted that Bridget was friends with J.J., and she said they’d hit it off when they’d been on a panel together. Ridge remarked that if things became successful, it was because of Bridget for hooking it up.
In Eric’s office, Steffy was there when Taylor arrived. Steffy remarked that Taylor had picked the wrong day because of Brooke’s Bedroom. Steffy informed Taylor about the musical guest. Noting that Finn was a fan of J.J., Steffy was glad Finn would be there on her side because he knew what a headache it all was. Steffy added that Hope knew to stay away from Finn.
Taylor advised Steffy to protect herself and her marriage. Steffy asked if Taylor really wanted to watch Brooke being celebrated by Ridge in her lingerie.
Later, Steffy turned on the television, and it played a live feed of the salon where everyone had gathered. Steffy said Taylor could shut it off, but Taylor replied that she was a big girl. Steffy warned her mother against going to the salon, saying Taylor didn’t have to suffer through it like Steffy did. Steffy left to greet J.J., and Taylor watched Ridge and Brooke on the TV screen.
Back in the salon, Steffy arrived with J.J., and Bridget introduced him to Carter, Ridge, and Brooke. J.J. noted that he was with Bocelli, who had performed for Brooke and Ridge in Rome. Brooke asked him to meet her other daughter, and J.J. said Hope’s name, remarking that he was a big fan of her line and her message. Hope stammered, saying the feeling was mutual.
Steffy introduced J.J. to Eric and then to Finn, whom she deemed J.J.’s biggest fan. As Finn gushed over J.J., Steffy slipped off to chide Hope for gazing at Finn.
Hope explained that she was just watching him meet someone he admired. Steffy accused Hope of fantasizing about kissing Finn. Hope denied it, but Steffy warned her that she didn’t want a repeat of what had happened when Danny had been singing. “Leave,” Steffy commanded, and Hope strode out of the salon.
Finn approached Steffy, wondering if he’d been too much with J.J. He noted that Hope had left, and Steffy commented that Hope had been too much when it came to Finn.
In the design office, Hope was upset, thinking about kissing Finn. Carter entered, asking if she was skipping the event. She nodded. He said he’d noticed her encounter with Steffy and assumed it had been about her line. She asked for his opinion on her line.
Carter replied that he loved it and said she’d put herself into the world. He’d been thinking about it a lot and had a crazy idea. Initially hesitant, he decided to share it, emphasizing that it was about her, not just the line. Hope asked if he’d been thinking about her. He admitted that he had, but it was about helping her line rebound.
Carter suggested that Hope could capitalize on Brooke’s Bedroom’s success. Hope pointed out that she wasn’t a designer, but Carter clarified that he meant in front of the camera. “If you can’t beat them, join them,” he said. Embarrassed, Hope remarked that Carter had been thinking about her in lingerie. “Guilty as charged. Too much?” he asked. Hope smiled and replied, “I didn’t say that.”
Later, as Taylor winced while watching Brooke and Ridge kiss on TV in the salon, R.J. and Zende managed the set as J.J. gave an unplugged performance of his song "Way Down We Go" with video screens behind him playing shots of Brooke’s Bedroom.
Back in Eric’s office, Taylor was gone when Steffy and Finn arrived. Finn was on a high after the performance, but he asked if Steffy was okay. He admitted that he’d been concerned about what Steffy had said earlier regarding Hope. Steffy confessed that she didn’t like the way Hope looked at him. Finn assured her that Hope could look at him under a microscope, but it didn’t matter because he only had eyes for Steffy.
Back in the salon, Eric, Ridge, Brooke, and Bridget talked to J.J., who invited them to his concert that night. Eric couldn’t wait for Donna to see it. Eric and Bridget walked J.J. out, and taking Brooke into his arms, Ridge said he liked her smile.
Taylor was walking by a curtain. She hid behind it as Ridge and Brooke remarked that they had a lot to celebrate and planned to do so after the concert. Brooke couldn’t wait to get Ridge into the bedroom. Ridge suggested they skip the concert and go straight to the bedroom, but Brooke insisted they had to make an appearance, though they could leave early.
Taylor clutched her chest, unable to breathe as she watched them kiss. Just after Brooke exited, Taylor gripped the curtain and collapsed. Ridge saw her on the floor and ran to her side.
