On The Bold and the Beautiful, Carter returned Forrester Creations to its rightful owners. Relationships were repaired, a new one could be about to begin, and did we see the end of destiny?
The Bold and the Beautiful: Being Better Starts Today

What a day on The Bold and the Beautiful soap fans, Carter (Lawrence Saint Victor) has finally done the right thing. He tore up that scrap of paper that was the LLC, and I know that’s not how it works, but let’s move on. It had been nagging at Carter, and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Daphne (Murielle Hillaire) had told him that he had lost his friendship with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) over his alignment with Hope (Annika Noelle) and the trickery involved with stealing the company. Now that friendship is being repaired.
All is well, except it’s not. Hope has washed her hands of Carter and told him she no longer looks at him and sees the man she fell in love with. Sad Carter. Carter returns to the design office looking more than a little crestfallen and enter Daphne Rose. Daphne explains he did the right thing, and Carter tells her his heart is broken. And then we get the “Line of the day”: Daphne tells Carter his heart is broken because he gave it to the wrong woman. Boom. Carter ends up in an embrace with Daphne that looks very comfortable from where I’m sitting. The start of something fresh here? Maybe, but first, let's look at the next part of the fallout.
Breaking The Cycle

In the CEO’s office, Ridge is talking to Brooke, and Taylor is standing back a bit, observing. Brooke shamelessly asks Ridge to come home to her in front of Taylor. Wow, Brooke, Taylor is right behind you, and you just pour it on. Heaping after heaping of destiny, and just come home to me Ridge, you know you want to, except, he doesnt, not anymore. I expected this to go the same way every other time had: Ridge goes from Brooke to Taylor, back to Brooke, and then to Taylor. I’m over it; the fans are over it, and I thought this is where this is going. All the while Brooke was talking to Ridge, I thought, Please, Ridge, Taylor is right there. Tell her you won't return to Brooke; she wants to see you stand by your words here. Then it happened. Ridge told Brooke he would always love her, but they must move on and not repeat things. He looked towards Taylor and told Brooke he was with Taylor now and would honor that commitment. Oh, my heart. The cycle has been broken; anything is possible now!

With that, Brooke left the CEO’s office and shut the door. Leaning against it, she began to cry. Is she going to take some time out for herself? Hmmm, Hell hath no fury, etc, and we could see her steer a course to the design office and take shelter from the storm with a certain Mr Carter Walton; he is, after all, a goooood man. Did you like seeing Ridge be firm and stand by his girl? Are you happy to see the endless cycle broken? Roar your thoughts into the comments below.
