On The Bold and the Beautiful, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) son Will (Crew Morrow) recently transferred schools so he could be back in L.A. Will has had some great banter and scenes with his brother Liam (Scott Clifton), leaving some fans to wonder why their other witty brother, Wyatt (Darin Brooks), is missing out.

The last time viewers saw Wyatt was in January 2024, when he told his dad he needed a change. Wyatt had arranged for RJ Forrester to rent his beach house while he was away. When asked about his plans, Wyatt responded, “I don’t know. Maybe hang around L.A., spread my wings, and see what’s out there in this big, bad world for yours truly.”

The Roaring Game movie is about a janitor, Rickey Rhodes (Darin Brooks), who puts together a curling team to win back his girlfriend after she left him to play hockey for Team USA. Determined to impress her, Rhodes uses his custodial skills to compete for the gold medal.

“Man… Last day of filming with all these incredibly talented, legendary, crazy ass kids!!!," Brooks posted. "We seriously laughed our friggin asses off, all day every day, and I couldn’t think of a better group of people to work with!!! Can’t wait for this hilariously funny film to come out!! Coming soon!!”

The sports comedy is produced by Chad A. Verdi and his production company, Verdi Productions. “We have assembled an elite team of comedic all-stars to bring this project to life. We are thrilled for audiences to see Rickey and the gang compete for the gold in the World Games next winter,” Verdi stated.

Screenwriter and director Tom DeNucci added that he wanted to tell a story that embraced the lighter side of life. “We’ve had so many laughs on set. I can’t wait to share them with the world,” DeNucci said.

Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) might not be heading back to The Bold and the Beautiful any time soon. Deadline also reported that a sequel for Blue Mountain State was being shopped.

The original series about college football ran for three seasons on Spike and starred Brooks and Chris Romano. Both are expected to participate in the sequel. Alan Ritchson (Reacher) will also reprise his role as Kevin “Thad” Castle.

Negotiations are ongoing, but the show will likely find a home on Amazon or Netflix.
