Ridge has invested some time in Taylor over the past couple of weeks. Not only did he want to catch up and spend quality time with his ex, but he also wanted to help her. Once Ridge found out that Taylor had Broken Heart Syndrome, he promised his support.
Ridge followed through by being with Taylor every step of the way. When Taylor would call, Ridge would drop everything and show up for her. Ridge kept his promise not to tell anyone about her condition, even though he knew he risked Brooke’s trust.

Despite her denial about her condition, Ridge persevered to learn more and find a treatment. He contacted Li and Grace, got referrals, and researched different options for Taylor.
Taylor was skeptical but grateful when Ridge arranged for a spiritual healer to help her with her broken heart. To support and encourage her to try the treatment, he stayed with her during the session.
Little did anyone know that Brooke was watching through the window — and misunderstanding everything she witnessed. Now that Taylor is feeling better, she sees her condition differently and isn’t as ashamed and embarrassed as she first felt when diagnosed.
Taylor apologized and told Ridge that he could share her health issues with others. But did he wait too long to confide in Brooke?
Brooke knows what she saw
On Tuesday, Brooke wants some answers from Taylor but doesn’t accept what she’s being told.
After seeing Taylor straddling Ridge in a candlelit room, Brooke is furious. She has had enough of Taylor saying she respects her relationship with Ridge but feels betrayed.
Brooke thinks that Taylor’s diagnosis is just an excuse for Taylor to get sympathy from Ridge. Brooke wonders why, if it is as serious as Taylor claims, Taylor has only shared her diagnosis with Ridge.
Taylor tries to explain to Brooke what is going on, but Brooke is confrontational with Taylor and accuses her of going after Ridge.
Steffy hears the truth
Steffy has been so happy to have Taylor back in town. She had asked her dad to try to convince Taylor to stay and was relieved when her mom said she would re-establish her practice in L.A.
However, Steffy has sensed that something is wrong with Taylor. She can’t put her finger on it, but the time has come for Steffy to find out.
Now that Taylor has a better understanding of her condition and is willing to get treatment without embarrassment, she is ready to share it with her daughter.
How will Steffy react to her mom’s health issue? Will she want Ridge to be more involved?
