The Bold and the Beautiful is revisiting an old friend: Italy! According to supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk, the show is headed back to the country that's shaped like a boot to tape footage for upcoming episodes.
That's Amore!
"Quick trip to Italy this week to scout locations in Naples and Capri," Kaspryzk posted on Instagram, where he showed a photo of himself and Elisa Gastaldello, Titti Cinque, a location scout, and Anthony Ferrari, VP of International Operations, B&B. "Scroll to the end to see the best pizza in Napoli 🍕 Can’t wait to be going back again! Stay tuned."
Viewers won't have to wait for the B&B episodes to air to get a sneak peek of the beautiful country. Check out the slideshow in Kaprzyk's post to see some of the sights:
"Thank you for the past days together, we can’t wait to see you guys again soon!" Gastaldello posted. "Happy you had your special crazy pizza night 😂⭐️."
The show has ventured abroad many times over the years to help tell the stories of the Forresters and their various love interests, friends, and foes. A variety of different stories could be taking the show to Italy in the future.
Bold Travel Plans
Perhaps Hope (Annika Noelle), who is at a personal and professional crossroads in her life, will be looking for a fresh start. If she takes flight, will Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) follow her to prove his love? Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) are on the outs right now. Diehard "Bridge" fans believe that they'll make their way back together. Italy was certainly lucky for them the last time in terms of a reunion as they were there when Ridge looked through a keyhole and saw Brooke — his destiny — waiting for him.
One B&B devotee posted on Kasprzyk's account, hoping that two favorites will get some remote love. "Is it to prepare for Sheacon’s honeymoon in [Italy] that they didn't get… ?" asked @so_soaps_baby. "❤️ Because they deserve it and we have the right to dream. 😂 @kimberlin_brown @sean.kanan."
Ivy Was All Wet
While location shooting always adds a beautiful element to the show's look, the show never fails to work taping abroad into the show's story. For example, when the show went to Paris back in 2014, Quinn (Rena Sofer) pushed Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) into the Seine River to keep Liam (Scott Clifton) from proposing to Hope (then, Kimberly Matula; now, Annika Noelle) so that her son Wyatt (Darin Brooks) could pursue Hope.
