At Eric’s house, Taylor had tea with Eric and Ridge. For her, there was always something special about being in the Forrester home. Eric said she’d been part of the family for years, and it was her home, too. Eric felt lucky to have Taylor Hayes back but didn’t dare ask for how long it would be. Looking at Ridge, Taylor said she’d missed "so much."
After some talk about Taylor spoiling her grandkids, Eric left to take a conference call. Alone with Ridge, Taylor was beaming. Being there with Eric and Ridge felt right to her. However, Taylor was still worried about Steffy. She said they’d already lost one daughter, and Luna was in jail. Taylor figured threats still existed for Steffy—like Hope refusing to stay away from Finn.
Taylor talked about how strange the circumstances of the kiss had been. Ridge agreed but said Brooke had assured him it wouldn’t happen again. Taylor wasn’t reassured by Brooke’s promises and insisted that it was learned behavior. Uncomfortable, Ridge said, "Let’s get off your couch."
Taylor claimed that Ridge wasn’t on her couch, but she expressed concern about Steffy, whom they had almost lost. Ridge replied that they hadn’t lost Steffy, and he was also concerned.

Ridge told Taylor that there was much of her inside their daughter. Taylor’s brain moved faster than others, and her smile always said things would be okay. Taylor confessed that she had been in Monaco and had seen Ridge and Brooke together. She claimed she had an appointment there she couldn’t miss, and it had reminded her of the abrupt way she’d left Los Angeles.
Taylor said she’d had to get away to clear her head, but there had also been her work. Ridge replied that there was always "so much work" and that she was an inspiration. Claiming it had come with sacrifice, she said she’d missed them all. He stated that she was "here now," but even in her absence, they had known how much she loved them. Taylor hoped that was the case, no matter where she was.
Taylor said that seeing Ridge in Monaco had made her realize that home was where she needed to be.
In Finn’s office, Brooke arrived to speak with Finn about her daughter. Finn figured it was about that kiss. Brooke told him to forget about it and not let it cause more trouble than it already had. Confused, Finn said Brooke had brought it up, and he didn’t need to discuss it further. Brooke then asked about Steffy. Finn felt his wife had had a right to call Hope out. Brooke didn’t disagree, but she didn’t trust Steffy, who might do something to upend Hope’s life again.
Finn defended his wife, who had given Hope’s line another chance. Brooke admitted she had almost fallen for it, too. Finn didn’t understand what she meant. He said he was proud of Steffy for showing Hope grace. Brooke informed Finn that Steffy had followed that grace with a threat, telling Hope that if she so much as looked in his direction, the line would be canceled.
Finn revealed that Hope hadn’t mentioned anything about that at Il Giardino the other day. Brooke replied that Hope had taken the warning seriously and wasn’t that kind of woman. Brooke didn’t mean to cause trouble between Finn and Steffy, but she hoped Finn could get through to his wife. Finn didn’t want to be in the middle of it. Brooke suggested that it might bring some peace. She knew Finn cared about both women, and the rivalry seemed to be weighing on him. Brooke figured he might be able to end the war between them once and for all.
At the cliff house, Liam was picking up some things for Kelly. He asked Steffy how it had been since her incident with Luna. Steffy said she was good, thanks to her incredible husband. Liam commended Finn for trusting his instincts and finding Steffy. Steffy flashed back to Finn rescuing her from the cage. She claimed that none of the ordeal would have happened if Hope hadn’t kissed Steffy's husband.
Liam still couldn’t wrap his head around that. Steffy stated that she had tried to explain the lengths Hope would go to in order to mess with Steffy’s life, but Finn claimed Steffy just didn’t understand Hope. Liam replied that he didn’t understand it, either, as he didn’t know Hope to be a homewrecker. It was hard for him to believe Hope would do anything to upset the children’s lives.
Steffy decided to sum it up in one word: Logan. Liam figured there was more to it than that. Steffy said Hope had learned from the best—Brooke had gone after Ridge while he had been a married man, and Steffy refused to let Hope destroy her relationship.
Liam said, for the record, that he didn’t believe Hope would do it. Steffy scoffed. Liam said he was on her side, but he couldn’t imagine Hope actively trying to break up a family. Steffy asserted that Hope had kissed her husband and had taken advantage of Finn’s kindness and friendship. It hurt Steffy and made her wary of what Hope might try next.
Liam was concerned, saying it wasn’t the Hope he knew. He said Hope hadn’t been herself for a while. Liam offered to talk to Hope.
Finn arrived home, and Liam decided to leave. He thanked Finn for saving Steffy and said Kelly would video call later. Alone with Steffy, Finn revealed that Brooke had visited him earlier that day. Brooke wanted peace, but she also revealed that Steffy wanted Hope to stay away from Finn. Steffy refused to apologize, but Finn said he wasn’t asking her to. He stated that Steffy and the kids were his priority, and she didn’t have to worry about Hope, Sheila, or anyone else. No one could get between them.
