Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, The Bold and the Beautiful began broadcasting special throwback episodes until it was safe for the cast and crew to return to work. This week was devoted to "epic weddings" filmed in beautiful locations around the world.

This episode originally aired on September 30, 1994. In the episode, Taylor Hayes desperately attempted to escape from Prince Omar to let Ridge know that she was alive, while Ridge and Brooke had their epic first wedding in front of friends -- and foes -- on the beautiful beach in Point Dume, California.

On the beach at Point Dume, surrounded by intricate sand castles and with the ocean crashing behind them, a minister blessed Ridge and Brooke and spoke of how they were becoming husband and wife. The lessons they taught their children were the lessons they learned from their own parents. It wasn't just Brooke and Ridge who were about to be joined; it was the whole family. Meanwhile, Taylor was in a palace, dressed like a Moroccan princess. She paced her room with a manila folder and told a picture of Ridge he didn't deserve another tragedy...she was alive!

Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, The Bold and the Beautiful began broadcasting special throwback episodes until it was safe for the cast and crew to return to work. This week was devoted to "epic weddings" filmed in beautiful locations around the world.

Today's episode originally aired on January 8, 1991. In the episode, Eric Forrester and Brooke Logan were married in a ceremony held in Palm Springs

The minister began the ceremony; when he asked if anyone had any objections to the marriage, Ridge bit his lip, and Stephanie stared off into space. Brooke took a breath as the bride and groom were asked to confess any just cause why they might not lawfully be married. Stephanie watched, clearly in pain, as Eric and Brooke took their formal, more Biblical vows. Ridge and Brooke locked eyes a moment too long as he approached with the requested rings, which Eric and Brooke exchanged. After the minister declared Eric and Brooke husband and wife and invited them to kiss, a single tear rolled down Stephanie's face. Ridge also appeared decidedly unhappy.
