The Bold and the Beautiful alum Tracy Melchior joins BET soap Games People Play

BET's new high-stakes primetime soap, Games People Play, has cast daytime alum Tracy Melchior (ex-Kristen Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful; ex-Veronica Landers, The Young and the Restless).

BET is in the midst of ramping up the cast for its upcoming drama Games People Play, and the powers that be have chosen soap alum Tracy Melchior (ex-Kristen Forrester Dominguez, The Bold and the Beautiful; ex-Veronica Landers, The Young and the Restless) for a recurring role.

Based on the book Games Divas Play by Angela Burt-Murray, the primetime miniseries is a sexy, stylized drama about the L.A. high life, where everyone plays to win. Says Deadline: "A desperate basketball wife (Lauren London) trying to protect her family, a tenacious journalist (Karen Obilom) struggling to rebuild a tarnished career, and a scandalous groupie (Parker McKenna Posey) looking to become a star, find it's murder trying to stay on top."

Melchior is set to play the recurring role of Roxanne on the soapy drama, which is scheduled to make its debut on Tuesday, April 23.

Tracy Melchior played B&B's Kristen Forrester on-again, off-again from 2001 to 2017. Her other daytime credits include Veronica Landers on The Young and the Restless, Tess Marin on Sunset Beach, and Renee on Passions.
