Soapie scions to hit Paris and waltz into the world as debutants

Charlotte Bell and Ava Phillippe -- the daughters of B&B's Bradley Bell and OLTL's Ryan Phillippe -- help make up the exclusive contingent of American debutantes "coming out" at Paris' le Bal des Débutantes this November.

America may not have duchesses, princesses, and other royal icons, but our nation certainly has a slew of Hollywood descendants just as noteworthy as those in line for the crown. In fact, the small world of soap operas lays claim to two significant mademoiselles who are about to take the world by storm.

Charlotte Bell, daughter of The Bold and the Beautiful executive producer Bradley Bell, and Ava Phillippe, daughter of One Life to Live alum Ryan Phillippe (ex-Billy Douglas), are both part of an exclusive group of teenagers scheduled to make their "world debut" at Paris' upcoming fashion event le Bal des Dbutantes.

Often referred to simply as "le Bal," the haute couture event -- named as one of the world's ten hottest parties by Forbes -- is run by Ophlie Renouard and raises money for various charities, such as the New York-based Seleni Institute, which provides care and research for the mental health of teenage mothers. This year's ball is scheduled to be held at the Peninsula Paris on November 25.

Phillippe, whose mom is Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon, and Bell, whose mom, Colleen, was the US ambassador to Hungary under President Obama, will be joined by Stella Tennant's daughter Cecily Lasnet, filmmaker Louis Malle's granddaughter Jeanne Malle, Steve Harvey's stepdaughter Lori Harvey, and Warner Music Group executive Len Blavatnik's daughter Laila Blavatnik. Royal princesses from Belgium, Brazil, Portugal, and India will also be in attendance.
