From actress to comic: B&B's Linsey Godfrey gives stand-up comedy a try

The Bold and the Beautiful's Linsey Godfrey (ex-Caroline Spencer) is throwing her hat in the competitive ring of stand-up comedy.

The Bold and the Beautiful's Linsey Godfrey (Caroline Spencer) was given a few comedic moments during her five-year stint with the CBS soap opera, but was it enough to prepare her for the world of stand-up comedy? It looks like fans of the actress are getting the chance to find out!

Godfrey took to Instagram to share that she has signed up to perform in a stand-up comedy routine later this month, and it will be her first time trying to make a live crowd roar with laughter.

"It's no secret I love comedy, I've always wanted to try standup and I finally found the courage to do it!" she shared. "So come and check us out! It will be my first time ever doing standup!!"

Godfrey's performance is scheduled as part of the Pretty Funny Women event taking place October 19 at Flappers Comedy Club in Los Angeles. For more information and to purchase tickets, check out the club's official website.
