The Bold and the Beautiful's Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton) and Karla Mosley (Maya Avant) are bringing their hilarious web series, Wed-Locked, back to life.
Time is winding down to help The Bold and the Beautiful's Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton) and Karla Mosley (Maya Avant) revive their digital series Wed-Locked -- and while the pair has started a crowdfunding campaign to help finance the series, there is also a way you can help even if you can't contribute financially.
As previously reported by Soap Central Saint-Victor and Mosley have made plans to resurrect their critically acclaimed 2009 series that looks at life after a couple says their "I Do's." You know, when you start to see some of the things you didn't see in the courting process.
The B&B stars have until June 13 to raise the $12,000 needed to fully produce the series through their SeedandSpark.com fundraising campaign. However, they need only raise 80% of that total -- $9,600 -- and they'll still be able to move forward with the project. As of the time this article was written, they've raised $7,545.

"If 100 people give $10, that money goes a long way," Saint-Victor explains, noting that every dollar helps. However, if you want to see Wed-Locked produced but don't have the ability to make a monetary donation, you can still help. If the Wed-Locked fundraising campaign on SeedandSpark gets 500 followers (at post time, they had 491) -- and it is absolutely free to follow the campaign -- SeedandSpark will give Wed-Locked a production package worth $9,000 to help them in the post-production process.
A quick search of popular crowdsourcing sites shows that there are a lot of digital series seeking financing. So what makes Wed-Locked so different? The series has already earned the praises of The Bold and the Beautiful's executive producer/head writer Bradley Bell, who used the series' popularity to launch the show-in-a-show series Room 8 on B&B. And now Sonequa Martin-Green and husband Kenric Green have signed on to help produce the series.
Sonequa Martin-Green is best known for her television role as Sasha Williams in The Walking Dead, and she will make history as the first African-American lead when she helms the series Star Trek: Discovery later this year. Kenric Green is a writer and actor who is also known for a role on The Walking Dead.
"We have decided to jump on board and produce a show," Sonequa shared in an Instagram video. "It's gonna be so funny... so compelling... it's gonna be a good one."
"We're very excited," Kenric added. "It means a lot to us -- we're really excited."
