The Bold and the Beautiful has cast Home Improvement alum Richard Karn as the show's new judge.
Most people would be in some serious hot water if they stole designer dresses, and while there's no doubt The Bold and the Beautiful's Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is in big trouble for swiping designer duds from the House of Forrester, the character has had a stroke of luck: she'll be having her day in court with a very familiar-looking judge.
Sally is scheduled for court on the episodes airing Friday, May 5, and Monday, May 8, and the CBS soap has cast Home Improvement star Richard Karn to play the role of Judge Jon Oplinger. But just because it's a soap, don't expect B&B's new judge to play fast and loose with the law.
"There is nothing nefarious about Judge Oplinger," Karn insists to TV Insider. "Though the writers might go a different way down the line. You never know. Anything's possible. But, right now, he's by-the-book and just wants to make the best deal possible for both sides. He's the Neil Gorsuch of the Los Angeles court system."
Hhhmmm... Could that be a red herring to throw viewers off the case? Looks like fans will have to tune in next month to find out!
