GH and B&B star Ashley Jones welcomes baby boy

It's a boy for fan-favorite actress Ashley Jones (Parker Forsyth, General Hospital; ex-Bridget Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful)!

Congratulations are in order for Ashley Jones (Parker Forsyth, General Hospital; ex-Bridget Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful) and her husband, Joel Hendricks, who have welcomed their first child together.

The actress confirmed to People that their little bundle of joy, Hayden Joel, came into the world on May 24 at 7:06pm, weighing 7 lb., 9 oz. The new baby will be little brother to four-year-old Huck, whom Hendricks had prior to meeting Jones.

"Holding our first child the minute he arrived was the most mesmerizing, perfect moment," Jones told the outlet. "Everyone says it, but they say it for a reason: my heart bursts with joy and love. I feel this deep need to protect."

Jones' new bundle of joy is just one of several that the stork has brought to daytime stars in recent weeks. And about a week ago, The Young and the Restless's Jason Thompson became a dad.
