Jacqueline MacInnes Wood will return to The Bold and the Beautiful in early 2015. The Emmy-nominated actress' reprisal of the role of Steffy Forrester seemed like a long shot just a few weeks ago. Wood first appeared on B&B in 2008.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) will return to The Bold and the Beautiful in early 2015, a show spokesperson confirms.

Wood made her daytime debut on B&B in 2008 and exited the show in June 2013. At the time, a B&B spokesperson explained that Wood was "taking a short break" from the rigors of the show. Wood did make several short-term appearances in July and December of 2013, but fans have been clamoring for the actress to return on a more regular basis.
As recently as late October, it looked like the chances of Wood returning were slim to none. While the actress expressed her love for the show, she stated that she and show executives "weren't on the same page."

"As much as I love The Bold and The Beautiful and still wanted to be a part of it. Unfortunately we weren't on the same page contractually/scheduling etc," Wood shared on her Facebook page. "These things happen in this industry and I hope all my fans can understand that. I am a huge supporter of Brad Bell and the entire cast and crew. Love and kisses to all of my fans. I really do care about you all."
Wood is currently only scheduled to appear in a handful of episodes, but the possibility is there for more appearances.
Wood will return to the studio next week to tape scenes. Those scenes will begin airing at the end of January -- just in time for the start of February Sweeps. She first airs February 9.
