Adam Gregory 'taking a different direction' at B&B

One Forrester family member will be seeing less airtime in the weeks and months ahead. Adam Gregory has been placed on recurring status with the CBS soap.

After seeing the revamped opening credits for The Bold and the Beautiful and noticing that he longer appeared in them, relative newcomer Adam Gregory (Thomas Forrester) took to social media to announce what seemed like his swan song from the CBS soap.

A short time later, the actor returned to Twitter to clarify his statement.

"Retracted my last tweet cause I'm not gone, I'm actually back soon," Gregory remarked. "I'm just not a regular and my career is taking a different direction."

A spokesperson for The Bold and the Beautiful confirmed that Gregory is now on recurring status.

"Thank you to all my #BB fans for sticking by me through this whole time," Gregory added. "You guys are all awesome! I do miss my #BB family."

During his away time from The Bold anf the Beautiful, Gregory starred in the film Saints and Soldiers: The Void, due out later this year.

Gregory made his first appearance on The Bold and the Beautiful in September 2010.
