Sean Kanan: B&B time has come to an end

Deacon Sharpe made a long-awaited return to The Bold and the Beautiful last month, but fans shouldn't get too used to seeing the character on-screen. Sean Kanan has revealed that his time as the fictional character has already come to an end.

Last month, Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe) returned to The Bold and the Beautiful. It marked the first time in seven year that the actor appeared on the soap.

The return, however, appears short-lived. Kanan has informed fans that he'll be exiting the show in the weeks ahead.

"I want to thank all of you for your support. Returning to Bold was a great experience," Kanan informed fans on Twitter. "Apparently Deacon's time there has come to an end."

Kanan made his B&B debut in November 2000. He remained with the CBS soap through February 2005. Kanan took his B&B role to the show's sister soap, The Young and the Restless, in July 2009. Kanan remained with Y&R off-and-on through early 2012.

A final airdate has yet to be announced. A spokesperson for The Bold and the Beautiful did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
