After 41 years, 8 months, and 18 days, All My Children concluded its run on ABC. And, as the old saying goes, it went out with a bang -- quite literally.
The television show that introduced Erica Kane into the lexicon has ended, but the memories will always live on. And All My Children will live on, too, in some format. In July, ABC announced that it had sold the rights to All My Children and One Life to Live to a media company called Prospect Park. Though Prospect Park has kept much of its processes shrouded in secret, the company has vowed to launch a new Internet television channel with AMC and One Life to Live as its cornerstones.
